Pakistan urges unified operation in Afghanistan for achieving durable peace
IRFAN HAIDER — PUBLISHED 8 minutes ago

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry stressed upon the need of ‘well-coordinated’ security operation in Afghanistan to achieve shared goals of peace and prosperity in the two countries.

This was stressed by Aizaz Chaudhry during the foreign secretary-level consultations between Pakistan and Afghanistan being held in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Chaudhry led the Pakistani delegation while the Afghan delegation was headed by Afghan Deputy Foreign Minister Hekmat Khalil Karzai.

The two sides reviewed all facets of Pakistan-Afghanistan bilateral relations and exchanged views on a broad range of issues of mutual interest, including peace and stability, counter-terrorism, border-security, trade and economic cooperation, Afghan refugees and regional cooperation.

Pakistan’s foreign secretary stressed upon the need for greater political engagement, stronger focus on economic development and well-coordinated security cooperation for achieving shared goals of peace and prosperity in the two countries as well as in the wider region.

He also said "the recent visit of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to Kabul had been vital to further cement the inextricable bonds between Pakistan and Afghanistan".

Both sides discussed Pakistan’s contribution towards the development of Afghanistan through the Pakistani funded projects aimed at the reconstruction and rehabilitation in Afghanistan, and the facilitative role it has been playing in promoting an Afghan-led and Afghan-owned peace and reconciliation process.

It was agreed that mutual trust and confidence between the two countries was leading towards better coordinated measures to root-out the menace of terrorism.

As long as the Afghans cooperate, I don't see why not?

.
Talking about unified operation or cooperations with Afghans , our Government should first ask them that will they ever hand back Mulla Fazlullah or other high profile TTP terrorists to us who are staying safe in their country and will Indian training centers which are located near Pakistan border and which are breeding and sending terrorists against Pakistan will ever be closed ?

.
The Afghans have suffered long enough, i hope peace can be established there inshaAllah.

Afghanistan cooperation is required, as long as they cooperate with Pakistan there should be no problem. But the presence of Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, Dostam, Karzai & so on is a problem for Pakistan.

Gulbadin Hekmetyar is a genuine freedom fighter who fought bravely against the Soviets and has a major role in dismembering the past giant superpower ! . He also had integrity of not meeting Ronald Reagan due to later's hypocratic policies in 1980s against Afghan Mujahedeens . Now he has joined Mullah Omar and Jalaluddin Haqqani against sacred war or Jihad against another infidel ...USA and its cronies including NATO , Israel and India and it is duty of every Muslim to help them to clean Afghanistan of this satani occupation !

As for Zawahiri he is AlQaeda and even a child can tell that Al Qaeda is a CIA creation to wage false wars against Muslims so if anyone need to find him he or she can go to Langley !
