Pakistan to show missile muscle

Time has come to test long range missiles but we lack backbones.

No one lacks backbone but one certainly has to face reality as well. It is easy to keep testing longer range missile but any country that will come in reach of that missile will consider it a hostile development. Americans no longer have any significant capacity to project power far from their oceans as they once did so it is better to tackle them in diplomatic arena.

Its a proxy chinese response to India not USA.
Did you see harm in being proxy or the proxy of China.
How about if I say India is client state and proxy of USA.

Pakistan is planning to conduct a series of missile tests of different categories over the next few days that would include short and medium range, cruise missiles, anti tank guided missiles, surface to air missile, surface to sea missile, sea to surface missiles and air to surface missiles.
According to sources, short range ballistic missiles include Ghaznavi, Abdali-I, Ghauri-I, Shaheen-I while Medium range ballistic missiles (MRBM) include Ghauri-II, Shaheen-II, Shaheen-III, Ababeel
In the category of Cruise missiles Babur-1 (Hatf -VII), Babur-2 (Hatf -VII) will be test. Anti-tank guided missile that will be tested include Bakhtar-Shikan.
Sea to Surface Missiles Babur-3(Hatf VII) and Air-to-surface missiles Ra’ad (Hatf VIII), Ra’ad-II (Hatf VIII), Baktar-Shikan, H-2 SOW, H-4 SOW AND Barq will also be tested in the coming days.
Pakistan has two missiles which it could use on the battlefield: The Hatf-1 and Nasr. The Nasr is designed to be used against Troops, Tank regiments and other ground based units. It has a range of 60km and is capable of a payload of 0.5–5 kilotons.
The Hatf-1 is an unguided subsonic battlefield range ballistic missile. Newer variants have been developed with longer range.
The Ghaznavi a hypersonic surface to surface short range ballistic missile has a range of 400km and can carry a nuclear warhead of around 700kg.
The Ghauri is an intermediate range ballistic missile. It can carry a nuclear warhead of 700kg and has a range of 1500km.
The Shaheen series of missiles can cary a nuclear warhead weighing over a tonne of a range up to 3,000km.
Pakistan has three Cruise missile active in its arsenal, one for each branch of armed forces, Army, Air Force and Navy.
The Babur cruise missile is a surface to surface cruise missile capable of carrying a nuclear warhead of 100kg and has a range of 700km.
The Ra’ad cruise missile is an air to surface missile for the Pakistani air force. it has a range of 350km and can give a payload of around 10–35kt. It can be deployed by their JF-17 fighter bombers. The Barq is a air to surface laser guided missile deployed by Pakistan’s Buraq drones.
Pakistan Army (Air Defence) has inducted the Chinese-built LY-80 self-propelled surface-to-air missile system this March 2017.

Actually, a depressed trajectory is selected to give maximum range to the missile. According to extremely basic principles of projectile motion, the angle of launch should be 45° for the range to be maximum.

Pakistan does not have any known missiles of ranges longer than 2750 km (i.e. the range of th Shaheen-III). But this is because we don't need them. However, our missile program is a dynamic and ongoing program. Not only are our weapon designers constantly improving the quality of our systems, they are also gaining valuable experience and technical data which would make the design and development of longer range and more advanced missiles easier.
Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Pakistan already has developed an ICBM capability but is waiting for the right geopolitical situation in order to test it.
Remember, the indication that the Shaheen-III existed was first given by then-Chairman NESCOM, Dr. Samar Mubarakmand in 2004. And the speculation about MIRV capability had been around since at least 2003/2004, when the Shaheen-II was first tested. In that vein, Pakistan may have already completed the design studies and prototyping for a future ICBM and development may be going on right now if it has not already been completed.

bro their are many things which are not to be shared with every one just like exact range of abbabeel shaheen series and many more because they all are surprised package for enemies Pakistan has many missiles and even more deadly weapons then MIRV missiles but they will only appear on surface when the are realy needed in war zone when the time comes every one will see what we have so till then enjoy every thing

Pakistan nuke status is like half cup full. We need to have ICBMS and thermos to safeguard our interests and our independence in geopolitics.

Zionist control America and with Modi in Zionist state of Israel, it seems this might be a reaction to this development. However, without ICBM in inventory, it does look incomplete.

Its not a coincidence that when a US ship passes by occupied chinese island the response is north korean missile test and when India rebuffs china on bhutanese border it is responded by pakistani missile show. This is straight from chinese trick book.

Right.....everthing is all about India. How insecure are you people?? This is due to the comments and suggestions Mr. McCain made to Pakistan. We expected this muscle flexing while he was there. But a few days later is still inline with how Pak Army does it. We've seen it before.

I doubt the missile tests are a response to Sen. McCain's comments or suggestions.

These tests have a political message. USA reviewing its policy towards Pakistan and India -Israel nexus spinning faster, there will be another NATO surge in Afg and do more going to be played more. Pakistan declaring nuke will be first option if Pakistan encirclement takes place.

Focus really has to go toward various all around response mechanism

Improved Airforce
Improved Ground Units / Tanks
Improved Transport abilities for Units

Indegnious Science Centers
