Pakistan to deploy another division for CPEC security

Hi,

I always preach my colleagues---"never sell yourself short"---. The need of gwadar was clear as daylight to me years ago & I have extensively written about it here---.

The problem with pak army consortium is that just like the Paf it does tomorrow what was needed to be done yesterday and they do it out of habit---.

The general's mentality is "sub theek hai" & "hum jantay hein"---"hamein pata hai"---the problem is that---it is not alright---they don't know---they don't want to know---.

18 navy personal going to gwadar get executed---they had no weapons to protect themselves---they are going thru KNOWN badlands---that was criminal negligence on part of the general staff officers---.

Just a few days before that---serious issues with india took place---and that area was known for bad things to happen---.

A great pakistani mentality at work here---"hamein nah chherrain" hum aap ko kuch nahin kahein gey---. Don't bug us---we won't bug you---. That is no way to run a nation.

Where are the troops going to come from? I heard from someone who is on LPR that PA is contemplating a form of short term conscription to fill the ranks quickly.

That is true. A cadre of Tech arms officers on 3 years mandatory service as Captains after graduation from Military Tech institutes, without PMA induction and after 3 years if they leave army, no pension, no medical benefits.

Waste of money and resources. Act proactive then reactive. Pin point where it's all coming frm and crush that.

Quetta needs to be secured like Lahore, Peshawar, and Karachi. Then move on to Gwadar and other urban centers of Balochistan.

Last step should be to secure rural areas in Balochistan. Balochistan can't remain on low boiling heat forever. Needs to get it done iA.

All Regular tech arms are trained in infantry combat. The cadre im talking about will handle tech roles in HQ's (GHQ/JSHQ and other HQ's in rear) and other tech stations and free up Regular tech arms officers to take part in combat, if need be. Just like Reservists do. Reservists take up admin work in HQ's as soon as war erupts and regulars are sent forward to combat areas.

Ok that makes sense.This cadre will relieve the regular Tech arms cadre from GHQ/JS HQ etc, for them to join the battlefield.

under nsa pakistan has to raise atleast 7 or more div for national security , but no funds available. right no lots of cost cutting measure in pak army to lack of funds.

Military has to weed out internal enemies as well as external, part of oath. When Ministry of Interior cannot handle a situation, it sends out request to GHQ.

I am trying to dig the article.... article written recently and not raising enough div under NSA agreement between Raheel and Nawaz. May be you are right , it can be more around 11.

We already have a police, army, airforce and navy. Along with countless outer branches and forces. Why are those used to do the job? What is an extra police force going to accomplish?

When talking about COIN, its not wise to compare police with FC or Army. FC with Army. Intelligence agencies also work according to their own resources and jurisdiction. Extra Police will be FC (Frontier constabulary), not an Army formation, since Extra Army formations are usually called Ad-Hoc formation.
