Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif on Monday said that Pakistan would provide assistance to Iraq in fields of training and development. The Prime Minister said that Pakistan Air Force has a rich experience in training personnel’s of friendly countries and would, undoubtedly, assist in developing Iraqi Air Force on modern grounds. He said this in a meeting with General Anwer Hamad Ameen Ahmad Ahmed, Commander Iraqi Air Force who called on him at the Prime Minister house. Federal Minister for Defense Production Rana Tanvir Hussain and Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt were also present on the occasion. Later, the Pakistan Air Force and Iraqi Air force signed two agreements. Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Federal Minister for Defense Production Rana Tanvir Hussain also witnessed the agreement signing ceremony.
According to the first agreement Pakistan Air Force will provide training, to Iraq Air Defense Force personnel, in all sphere of Modern Air Force concept pertaining to different field of special Air Defence, and Air Crew.
The agreement was signed by Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt from Pakistan side and General Anwer Hamad Ameen Ahmad Ahmed, Commander Iraqi Air Force form Iraqi side.
This was followed by the signing of contract of sales of Super Mushakh Aircraft to Iraq by General Anwer Hamad Ameen Ahmed, Commander Iraqi Air Force and Air Marshal Sohail Gul Khan, Chairman, PAC Kamra.
The sale of Super Mushakh aircraft to Iraqi Air Force is a major milestone in the export of aviation products of Pakistan.

Pakistan signs agreements to assist Iraq in developing Air Force

ISLAMABAD, Feb 10 (KUNA) -- Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday said that Pakistan would provide assistance to Iraq in fields of training and development of Air Force, said an official press release.
According to the press release, the premier said that Pakistan Air Force has a rich experience in training personnels of friendly countries and would, undoubtedly, assist in developing Iraqi Air Force on modern grounds.
The Pakistani Prime Minister said this in a meeting with Commander Iraqi Air Force, General Anwer Hamad Ameen Ahmad Ahmed who called on him at Prime Minister House in federal capital Islamabad.
Pakistan Air Force and Iraqi Air force also signed two agreements that were witnessed by Prime Nawaz and Federal Minister for Defense Production Rana Tanvir Hussain, the release added. (end) sbk.mt KUNA 101848 Feb 14NNNN
