NEW DELHI: After dilly dallying for months, Pakistan on Tuesday agreed to allow an Indian commission to visit the country in connection with 26/11 Mumbai terror attack case probe there, setting a positive backdrop for the prime ministers' meeting in Mohali on Wednesday.

Pakistan, which had been dragging its feet on allowing Indian investigators on its soil in relation to probing the source of the Mumbai attack, expressed its readiness during a meeting between home secretaries of the two countries which ended today.

A joint investigation was offered the moment this incident took place and it was India who didn't agree. Had India been agreeing to it back then, you would have seen the same within days after 26/11.

You know we in Pakistan have serious doubts about India's own role in 26/11. After all India could never explain many raised questions pertaining to 26/11. India wants to hide the "hand" which facilitated this process in India and which could've been exposed if India had agreed to a "Joint Investigation" back then. Now it is probably only Indian delegation probing in Pakistan but what is fear of letting this happen the other way around?

hasnt Pakistan proposed a joint investigation since past 3 years? So it's good indian finally decided to accept what we've been offering for quite some time. Pakistani Nation got nothing at all to hide. Unfortunately it was indian not helping us to cooperate as it was more convenient to try waging psy-ops --which in hindsight i think was a failed strategy

hopefully this will be a good confidence building measure, but lets see
