Allow me to inform you why your post is wrong on so many accounts. Firstly which sanctions are you referring too? If US sanctions Pakistan, this isnt going to be the first time something that would take us by surprise. We have been under sanctions for over a decade in the past. That did not budge us from our nuclear program nor did it prevented us from testing.
Moreover when you talk about sanctions why do you forget that if sanctions are placed, those ant going to be one sided as Pakistan can just sanction back to supplies going from Pakistan. What do you think will happen once Pakistan stops and closes down its routes? We have done it in the past and after six months it was the US that came to us apologizing. Before that they were not even willing to acknowledge their mistake yet alone apologizing.
Iran has on numerous occasions either shot down or hacked US drones, what did the US do? Right absolutely nothing. What makes you think all hell will break lose if Pakistan shots down a drone which by the way is in violation of our territory and not the other way round.
Just because you dont even want to believe that other country too have cards up their sleeves because it happens to be Pakistan, does not mean they dont. So quit telling us every now and than what we can and cannot do.
If your diplomats thinks the same way that
you did then God help Pakistan.
So far your officials proved that they are very bad in diplomacy .
Real Politik is one thing and showing false bravado is other thing .Emotions dont have any place in real politics or diplomacy .

Iraq did the same thing .Except nukes,they were one of the most powerful military in that region and had backing from several powers .

Actually Iran is a respected one in diplomacy than Pakistan.Of Course they oppose US due to obvious reason.
But they know how to play .
India and their relation with US is not an issue to them .And at the same time have good relation with China,Russia and even EU nations .
What about Pakistan?
Tommorrow ,If US gives a nice offer ,you will forget all these insults and humiliation they hurled against you .
But US think twice before they do something against Iran.
US also sanctioned us for 3 decades .
But they came here for our cooperation .Not other way .They will give us any type of favour considering the current relation.
But we wont allow them and always keep a distance from them.
If we buy something ,we will pay them in hard currency .
