India is the largest producer of chickpea followed by Pakistan, Turkey and Iran. India produces around 6000000 metric tons and contributes around 70% of the world total production.

India is the second largest producer of fresh vegetables in the world (ranks next to China) and accounts for about 17% of the world’s production of vegetables, Of the 456 million tons of vegetable produced in the world, India’s share is 59 million tons.

India is the largest producer of Mango & Banana in World. Out of 370 million tons of fruit production in the world, India accounts for 30 million tons.

India is the second largest producer of Sugar Cane in the world (ranks next to Brazil).

despite the fact that India is 4 times bigger then Pakistan then wat do we expect,
n i clearly mentioned Pakistan is the second biggest producer of chickpea, u dont need to write that,

To the poster.. How is your rebutle to an accusation of a made up fact "India is 4 times larger". When you suggest in your post that Pakistan is the largest producer of something, can you copy paste where you are getting this information from as well.

India's total area is abt 3,287,240 km2 and Pakistan's is 803,940 km2 simply divide it

What I was suggesting .. is .. When you say "Pakistan is the largest" in something .. that statement does not divide 802,940 from 3,287,240.. so I will not divide it cause that is not what I was saying. I was just asking if you could kindly paste how you got your facts and figures cause it will improve your post and give it credibility.

China started economic reforms in 1978-79. See where they are today. One of the most prosperous nations in the world.

India started economic reforms in 1991 (10 -12 years after China) and growing stronger economically day by day.

It's 2010 now, 19 years after India woke up!

Pakistan should realize its immense potential in not only contributing to the world, but by contributing to its own citizens.

When the Hell Pakistan will start to arise.We need major Reforms.

Yaar seriously, a country can become strong if they reform their economic policies. With that, I will add that, even if Pakistan reforms its economic policies, who will invest in Pakistan?

For Pakistan, the action item is to eliminate terrorists from its' soil, be it Taliban, or TTP or Al Qaida, or LeT or HuM.

Once terrorists are eliminated and Pakistan opens up its economy, you will see major companies opening branches in Pakistan and Pakistan's economy will flourish.

I never meant that buddy. I know how many people Pakistan have lost. What I meant is complete elimination of those terrorists.

There is no need to be hyper sensitive without understanding my post.
Pakistani Army is doing a good job. But to eliminate terrorists from your soil, they need to word harder, much harder.

And as you have also heard it "Where there's a will; there's a way".

No, our main problem is the absence of justice; uneven distribution of wealth and resources among various classes, and nepotism. The extremism did not penetrate into the Pakistani society out of thin air, there were reasons behind this phenomena, the reason I mentioned in the start of my reply. Until and unless we resolve these very basic problems, the extremism will remain in our society in one or other form. Today it is TTP, tomorrow in some other name, with a different agenda.
