Pakistan successfully tests indigenous drone Burraq and Barq laser guided missile

can it be used for anti ship or air to air roles in future?
I think No
the drones can't carry bigger payloads due to size restrictions
most AShM weigh above 500kg which is greater than the drones payload carrying capacity
and the laser guided bombs are not good enough to take out a ship or a fighter
Range restrictions are also there

can it be used for anti ship or air to air roles in future?
It can for sure be used against helicopters and sure enough for antiship (precision targeting of radars or vital components to disable a ship, it can not sink a ship per se) within its range. It looks quite stealthy...

Indians don't understand the concept of Co-Development. I guess Brahmos, Barak and FA-50 are also foreign procurements for them with zero Indian contribution.

NESCOM Burraq

Burraq
(Urdu: براق ‎) is an advanced unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) developed by a venture of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and the National Engineering and Scientific Commission (NESCOM), a civilian defence research and development organisation of Pakistan.[1] The name Burraq (Arabic: البُراق‎ al-Burāq "lightning") refers to a type of winged steed, described as a creature from the heavens which transported the Islamic prophet Muhammad - Isra and Mi'raj.

In May 2009 the Burraq UCAV was reported to be undergoing flight testing and would be armed with a new laser-guided ASM missiles and laser designator, also designed by NESCOM.[1]

On 13th March 2015 the Burraq was for the first time officially shown demonstrating targeting in a drill using a laser guided missile, in photos released by Inter-Services Public Relations, the public relations department of the Pakistan Armed Forces. According to them the Burraq is "all weather capable" and has "pinpoint accuracy."

The same thing when you see Euro fighter for example, 4 different nations are making the same each one is specializing in some parts of it. The end result is a common fighter jet, or a UCAV in this instance.

No more specification ?

Because he knew what Burraqs origin is - A Chinese UCAV CH-3.Still he boasting about Indigenous bla bla,Congratulating your scientists and engineers for what ?To change the OS from Window XP to Window 7 with english command structure.
If it was CH3, then we could have bought it from china and tested it on the same day. Why go through all these troubles and waiting?

It is a good achievement and if produced in large numbers, will help PA against all the Takfiri groups in Pakistan. But there are several limitation that I see:

1- I had read that Pakistan's laser guided ammo program had hit problems since the munitions were not stable in windy conditions (real world conditions) and could not correct for changing wind and thus had poor accuracy. Has this been addressed?

2- The drone seems to be small and carries two munitions.

3- There appears to be no satcomm link (there is no skyward bulge on airframe). Now this is very strange, since Pakistan already owns a modern Chinese built and launched communication satellite in geosynchro orbit. The data link of this satellite could have been used for this purpose. Specially taking into account that the areas Pakistan is engaged in are quite mountainous and line of sight VHF/UHF links would be very difficult to establish and maintain at long ranges.

No more specification ?
LOL
Their is an information pool thread created by @Manticore on Burraq
Its been just what 4 hrs since this news
If you are really interested keep checking that out
Give it some time before the details emerge
Right now you are just trolling

Indeed, since there's no restrictions on what we can buy from China, like some other equipments, we could have easily purchased the Chinese armed drones and inducted them in the air force or army.
But the Indian reaction is understandable as these are the ultimate effects of shock to the system, it's like an amaterue who turns giddy by repeated blows from a professional boxer. It's a knock out punch. !!
