Pakistan should decide if it wants to talk to India or the separatists: Arun Jaitley

meeting Hurriyat leaders and enraging India and then again meeting them to further enrage India. you forgetting that Indians are pretty fine with the status quo and even the insurgency in Kashmir is almost dead. Pakistan has nothing to offer to force India for talks and doing this kind of drama is only backlash on Pakistan, not India.

Only Colonies don't have right to vote and representation in country's national parliament
.
why does it enrage india. we have been meeting them for decades. It is just India want to stop the dialog and they need an excuse. We have no problem with status Quo we come to india for resolution for kashmir issue for kashmiri people .. India dnt want to talk on this issue as they know kashmiris hate them from the core of their heart . if any choice is given to them that will not be in favour of india ...

bro if that is problem for u guys . u just raise it once we will do it . I thought india would have objection on it if we add them under pakistan PM. we have given them self governance the day they want to join they are more then welcome

U are 5 times our size , much more resourceful both economically and militarily . we have balls we always stand up against u. when it come to china which is just like almost equal population wise and u get on ur knees with that *** up and face down ... as Gandhi said Hindus are cowards .

now for the bold part how u think we get scared ? it was a trap and they fell for it. Musharraf needed legitimacy, we need to get our of sanctions . it benefited us.. yes we under estimated the war will spill over in Pakistan. we got alot of money, weapons which was banned to us by US, Due to us the economic restrictions after necular test both on Pakistan and India was called off .. there is alot of things i could tell u.

As india blmae us that we were hiding Osama. just see how funny is it that the world is looking for it for 11 years and he was chilling in a hill station as u say our army was hiding him.. any scared country would dare do that ??? . ;) we were getting all the perks while US was spending trillions in US find a man that was never there.

Just be neutral. US asked to take action against Hafeez Saeed . did we take it? They asked us about haqanis and put so much pressure to take action, did we take it? yeah

oh come on mate ....we are all buddies here ....there is nothing shame in admitting that u were scared

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's Foreign Office on Thursday strongly reacted to a statement issued by Indian Defence Minister Arun Jaitley and said Kashmiris were freedom fighters who were carrying out their movement from an occupied territory and not separatists.

Speaking to media representatives during the weekly briefing in Islamabad, FO spokeswoman Tasnim Aslam said Jaitley's statement was "unacceptable for Pakistan"
.

Jaitley had on Wednesday said that Pakistan must make a "conscious choice of peace" and decide whether it wanted to talk to the Indian government or the Hurriyat leaders.

The spokeswoman added that Pakistan was sincere when it came to a dialogue with India, saying dialogue with India is not a favor, but a necessity for peace and development in South Asia.

Responding to a question, she said Pakistan does not want to stop trade between India and Afghanistan through its territory.

Referring to the Indian leadership's statement in condemnation of the Wagah border post attack, Aslam said no condemnation or condolence message had been received through official channels.

She added that US Ambassador Richard Olson had been apprised of Pakistan's reservations against a report recently issued by the Pentagon.

Aslam said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would be leaving for Beijing tomorrow and will also particpate in the 22nd Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit.

He added that premier Sharif would hold talks with the Chinese leadership, including the country's premier and president.

During the prime minister's visit, a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoU) will be signed between the two countries, most of them in the field of energy, Aslam added.

The spokeswoman dispelled the notion that the Sharif's visit to Beijing is substitute to President Xi Jinping's visit to Islamabad. She added that visit of Chinese president is very much on the cards.

She said the prime minister will participate in a dialogue regarding Strengthening Connectivity and Infrastructure Development. She said Pakistan shares the Chinese vision and welcomes the opportunity.

Tasnim Aslam said Nawaz Sharif will also participate in 22nd APEC Summit.

The spokeswoman said Afghan President Ashraf Ghani would visit Islamabad this month. However, dates could not yet be announced, she said.

Hell no, I am just educating one analyst on Indian economy on this very thread since apparently he doesn't know anything about that.

That is why I said what I said earlier. There are some who know something, while there are some who are quite clueless. More of the latter; but nevertheless they are anointed ones.
Children of a different god; perhaps? :azn:

bro read my post not as an india but as a neutral guy. how did we get scared? u r saying we let them attack afghans and they forced billions of dollars on us, they forcefully take the sanctions back , they forcefully started selling us F-16s ..If you r saying that we didnt wanted that . Yes Pakistan in genral dont assisting anyone to attack a muslim country .. but there was a world pressure. so we let them fight. so that is ur definition of being scared?

Pakistan supported USA only when threatened ......Musharaf was not at all willing to help against good Taliban

stupid is the kinda excuses india come up with to spoil relationships. Pakistan have been more then eger to talk but india always halt it .. When PM came to india he didnt visited them. still response was very cold from indian side. They always hand him over charge sheat instead of coming to a constructive solution

Really ? You think a meeting of FS that was scheduled happened out of nowhere?

well what u r saying that Pakistan in general against helping anyone against muslim country. u r right . but we help them flee in our areas they regroup here and lunched a effective guerrilla war fare, US insisted for a military action in FATA for almost half a decade we did it when we felt there anti Pakistan element .

ur point is that Pakistan was reluctant and but under pressure from UN we let them pass through our country. is that u r calling that we were scared. ?? please confirm so we know what we are talking about

Really ? You think a meeting of FS that was scheduled happened out of nowhere?
im not talking about FS meeting . Pakistan since many decade meet from huriyat . Evertime when Pakistan PM visit India they visit Huriyat. After such a long tym PM nawaz sharif decided not to meet them. That was taken as a sign of weakness and futher pressurize Pakistan. Nawaz sharif was expecting that by doing this he will create good will in India. But he was disappointed by indian response. He sensed that BJP dnt want to improve dialog and back home he was criticized for this friendly gesture. Seeing no response from India he regerted his decision and talk about Kashmir in UN. that is how it happened .

Nawaz took a bold step to go india after modhi was elected . He is seen as RSS back radical extremist in muslim community all over the world. But to normalize relationship he took all that critizsim and walked an extra mile . But what what did he get from visit nothing. Infact hostile indian media and diplomats tried to show that modhi was tough on Pakistan.
