ISLAMABAD, Jun 13 (APP): General Manager Railways Saeed Akhtar on Monday said that Pakistan Railways (PR) will run air-conditioned business trains where breakfast and dinner will be provided free of charge to the passengers. Talking to a private news channel, he said that the business trains would be launched on August 14 and the service will be sponsored by the private sector.
He said that air-conditioned business trains will proceed simultaneously from Karachi and Lahore in evening and will reach their destination the next morning.
The GM Railways said that an amount of Rs.220 million, incurred by private sector will be spent on renovation of these business trains.
