What is wrong to invite someone come to the path of Truth? Use of force, coercion, deceit, chicanery, fraud and lies as used by Christian missionaries, is prohibited / haram in Islam.

My friend, first for all we love our religion and secondly it's duty of all muslims to spread islam and peace in every nook and corner of the world because it's Allah Almighty injunctions. Allah SWT quoted in Quran "And whose words can be better than his, who calls (people) towards Allah, and performs good deeds. and says: 'I am one of those who submit to Allah!'"
Allah says in Quran ( Surah Alimran:105)
"0 Muslims! there must be a group among you who would invite people to Good; and would command them to do good deeds, and would prevent them from forbidden things; and these are the people who will attain salvation."

But that doesn't means that a person can convert others by using force. Converting others through force is strictly forbidden in Islam. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said “Beware! Whoever is cruel and hard on a non-Muslim minority, or curtails their rights, or burdens them with more than they can bear, or takes anything from them against their free will; I (Prophet Muhammad) will complain against the person on the Day of Judgment.”

Islam can't be spread by the sword. It just can't. You can force people to cover their heads or keep beards but you can't force them to believe something. Majority of Muslims believe in Islam and are not forced to believe it.

1.You are totally ill informed. Brahmins and Khatryas had adopted the Islamic faith to be able to continue serving in the army and govt. The Message of equality, brotherhood, social justice and econmic ethics appealed to them. The lower cast/menial class had no such issues and continued in their status till the aggressive Christian missionaries lured them in.

2. Irrespective of what he/she used to be, a Muslim is a Muslim and is equal socially to all Muslims.

I dont think even you could be delusional enough to believe that all conversions to Islam were self motivated. Even today the newspapers in Pakistan are full of news of forced conversions etc. My question is about those people and their subsequent generations. Are these haram muslims ?

Haram implies untrue/impure/incorrect. The result of Haram can never be halal. Correct? So by that definition all Muslims converted by haram means, including wars, forced conversions etc should in turn be untrue/impure by definition. In law its called the concept of "fruit of the poisonous tree"
