Simple, its not feasible to have your civilian airspace closed for a long duration. The flights to Pakistan from abroad were too jam packed, ticket prices increased and even getting tickets during the summer peak time was becoming a mission.

I think Pakistan has made its point clear that any aggression from the Indian side will be met with an iron fist from the Pakistani side. Pakistan's defences are strong, and training/drilling kicked in to deliver an appropriate response to the Indian side.

Kartarpur is the only reason Pakistan has opened its airspace for India after meeting Indian delegation in Islamabad.

Even then its beneficial as Pakistan was earlier hung up on just 500 pilgrims a day and now the number is 5000 pilgrims and 10000 pilgrims on special occasions including those of other faiths without visa...and Indian overseas citizens as well Pakistan even dropped Khalistani from the delegation.
