Theres a saying in clinical psychology that if u want to change urself u must have the will to do so................... i know paks contribution against taliban and terrorists in swat, bajaur,nwfp etc but if u support these activities at one side of border and fight them at other side, hows that going to work???, every terrorist org is virulent whether they r in favour of u or not.

Its too early to start pointing fingers my friends, i do believe that Pakistan is is suffering from at least in some circumastances by groups it may haver once supported for various reasons. The fact of the matter is the Police escort was not a sufficent for guest of Pakistan, such a security failiure needs to bring about clear changes in the domestic sercurity arrangments currently used by the Police and Army. The Police are clearly not well trained, equipped or given the resources to take on such under takings. The fact that all Tweleve suspects where able to flee the scence of the attack shows the magnitude of the problem facing both the Law Enforcement and Military in Pakistan. Our Governement has failed and left Pakistan even more humiliated than before.

I don't see there's any reason to be happy abt this, but there's truth in the following

1) pakistan has used / sponsored / trained terror groups in the past
2) this includes the taliban and their ideology
3) these orgs are after power after all and are unaccountable, their interests lie in undermining the 'infidel' govt of pakistan
4) these groups enjoy support (for various reasons) in parts of pakistani security establishment

what pakistan has done in the past was thrust upon it by USSR invasion, world opinion and india.
But we should now focus on the present. Neither indian or pakistani or any other govt is entire a saint. USA is the biggest present example.
But unfortunately both india and pakistan want to harm each other not realiziing doing so will harm themselves. We should try to help each other or at least try not to increase the problem of the other.
For example what pakistan is blamed for ( helping the afghan fighters and kashmiri fighters ets) is now haunting us, if india is doing the same now in helping the terrorist in FATA etc, thinking that this is different because the war is being fought inside pakistan and the camps for these terrorist are also inside pakistan hence india is safe is living in fools paradise. This will spill over more and more across the border as the Govt control decreases in pakistan.
so good luck to us all. may allah give us all sense and have mercy on us
