When i think about US-Pak relation it dragged me to think in a wider role of regional countries.
Accept or not US deliberately wants a wider role in our region decpite china (gawadar port) or india's (chabahar port) and china india influance in the region. and whoelse provide this opportunity to US would be a USA's favorite otherwise US would ditch that country at any cost by leaving aside the moral values and by forgetting the sacrifies of pakistan for US. Because US simply looking for the future banefits and dont want to talk about the past.
It seems that US too has problem with our strategic interest with china because neither pakistan nor china policies shares any influancial benefits with US in CPEC or in OBOR or in afghanistan, and on the other end US is not willing to discuss about india-iran relationship of chabahar port. Although it's iran who is rival of US not pakistan Which surely indicates that there are some back door diplomacy and understanding between india and US regarding chabahar port and the access of afghanistan.
Although it's not in favour of india or china to share their regional benefits with US but sounds like india already unwillingly committed with US in order to get more influance in the region with the help of US. but india wants to use pakistan as bait infront of US because of pakistan's weaknesses and india is looking at pakistan to take any action against US such as stopping the NATO supply so that india can take the fruits of regional benefits without US involvement physically in the near future and take a charge of afghanistan via iran because iran would not allow US within it's terrority untill US leave the rivalary with iran. Keep in mind either 40% territory or 70% territory of afghaniatan controlled by afghan taliban it would not harm US- india becuase whatever percentage of territory aghan govt holds US-india are happy with it to engluf pakistan But definatly Afghan talibans and haqqanis are their biggest hurdles to achive their objectives that is why they are pussing pakistan very hard against haqqanis and against afghan taliban despite the fact that vast majority of haqqanis and afghan taliban are now in afghanistan. And pakistan already eradicated their source of income within pakistan. They want to use pakistan for their objective without taking real messures and action against afghan taliban and haqqanis because they want to decline so called pakistan's influance in afghaniatan and want to strenght their own influance by making pakistan as a bait either infront of terrorists or infront of US administration.
If china moved against pakistan on FATF to put in grey list it's indirectly another indication of US influance in the region becuase pakistan will not have any option except allowing the wider role of US in pakistan and in afghanistan by accepting thier unwarranted demands in upcoming FATF action plan. which means china also dont want to lose her democratic position infront of US.
And we know the afghanistan and iran position too with pakistan.
