Sir what is our situation in cyber defence and cyber warfare. Recently President Arif Alvi also visited ISI headquarters and raised issue of cyber threats which we can face. Sir is it something being done to prevent that. Because India with help of Israel can build massive capability. Plus recent Israel software issue is testament to what could happen.

Safe to say that alot is in the works, room for improvement is always there.... The thing to understand is that even the best software or firewall can be bypassed or neutralized....

Right now, we have direct access to all OSINT resources from China. But agreed that Pakistan needs to have its own homegrown OSINT resources where we have fully mastered the involved technologies...

Our cyber defense/offense is weak. Very weak. However there might be some positive movement as Turkey and China are getting involved. But areas like cyber defense cannot be purchased or outsourced. It is a capability that needs to be nurtured and developed over time. And it is in large measure a game of human resources. On a scale of 1-10 we are 3.5 to 4.

It is worse than you think. Just walk next to the PM Sect - and see NRTC and their workings. Your jaw will hit the floor.
I apologize for being so disparaging - but NRTC is responsible among other things for the communications security of the PM Sect and all foreign offices. Those guys could not secure their own offices let alone secure such sensitive places.

I wont talk about MilSec at the expense of saying something that will get me into trouble.

Because like time to time international OSINT companies release data on events, battles, positions, military installations, movement, floods, mountains land slides, tornado damages etc etc, we have not heard or seen large amounts of data from a dedicated Pakistani company released to build a narrative for our us.

It’s run by the military. Pakistans cruise missile use TERCOM. Where do you think the contour maps comes from? They have optical contour identification and altitude matching across multiple routes deep into enemy territory. They are like virtual highways the missile follow. To do this, very detailed GIS is needed and is updated on a regular basis. TERCON are coupled with satellite navigation and also uses AI to confuse enemy air defenses. They can autonomously change routes and even targets mid flight.
