Pakistan Navy and Karachi defense against sea storms

Karachi badly need trees for incoming dangerous natural disasters threats..

What is role of Pakistan Defence Forces in this serious matter ?


Point No..1 In Karachi city 50% area of Karachi City cantonment Board mean under control of Pakistan Army. And Air force and Navy. Why not they create example for citizen of Karachi to aware the importance of Trees in our life.


Point. 2 Masroor air base Karachi, Faisal Air Base korangi Air Base, Malir Caant Area. full of trees like Jangle.

Point. 3. Pakistan Navy have major Role in this work to re build sea jangle along with Karachi cost . because the only defence against storms ..


Point No. Please we have to do in that serious matter

Currently all armed forced are involved in destroying environment, sometimes for their own profit.

Military is corrupt just like rest of Pakistanis and makes money where it sees it.

They need to replenish the mangrove swamps that buffered Karachi from the sea or else risk the same fate as New Orleans suffered during Hurricane Katrina.

Million tree project for the restoration of mangroves trees needed in Khi but alas! Imran Khan is ridiculed over billion tree project by other political parties - such is the mind set btw @ topic starter sub kuch Army waley karein kya ? example civilian govt. nahi bana sukti ?

Well unsure what this thread as to do with Navy

a) City and civilian bodies don't know how to run waste treatment plants , they are lying idle and sewage is thrown into sea which kills mamgroves

b) Mangroves can be replaced by Sea Wall

c) Rising Sea Level will take alot of present day coast line over next 50 years

Mangroves , are natural Part of coast line are affected by natural events

What is more important water for population ? Build Dam
Mangrove scenery ?

Karachi has the Least greenery and least gardans
