Few things that India is objecting here can be rational for purpose of objection. But before that they need to understand few things too..Pakistan giving access to there high profile capture needs certain precautions.

1. Asking for ladies to change the dress.

Well this should have been expected lines. First the dress could be used for hidden communications. Secondly unlike India, Pakistan is muslim state and to keep ladies safe from any threats, Pakistan forces must have asked to change to salwar kamiz and remove the symbol of hinduism, so that they can cover up the movements or keep it low and stealthy.

2. Shoes
They have all rights to be suspicious about it, but yes if they have taken up the shoes, they should have examined it during the course of time when the meeting was in progress and should have returned it timely.

3. Media presence
It would be foolish to think that media will not be fed directly or indirectly. Any country giving access will try to gain some popularity and media benefits. Chances of media catching up at airport or at hotel or at some place should have been on expected lines and both the ladies should have been tutored for same.

Things could have been better handled by Pakistan, knowing that India will blow things out of proportion.
None the less, they could have been more courteous by allowing to mother to speak to her son in native language. Since everything was getting recorded, it could have been easily translated.

MEA and Sushma Swaraj is doing whats expected out of them and so is media.

When have ever high profile spies been allowed this but pakistan breaks all norms and allows a meeting only to see Indian govt whine which quite frankly they would have, unless we would have let him go with them. Pakistan needs to stop appeasement. The govt is rightly being criticized for allowing this ridiculous meeting. The nationalist govt in India will take no gesture.
