Pakistan likely to buy China's drones

My take is that these UAVs might be deployed for CPEC. Given the stretch of the route thru Balochistan and long range cum endurance of these UAVs, I had previously suggested that this is the move in pipeline. Also the recent pacts singed for cooperation in space and Sattelite ventures suggests in the very same direction. I am seeing 24/7 aerial monitoring of CPEC routes in the future IN SHA ALLAH. We might end up paying nothing for these but still get them as these are suppose to mainly guard CPEC. My two cents.

Is it a good idea to use armed drones for protecting CPEC? I can see surveillance drones being used here.

Insurgency in Balochistan has not yet dead, though taking last breaths. These UAVs can act as armed escorts esp to precious cargo like Oil shipments etc as a proactive tool to neutralize the hostiles on spot rather than waiting for LEAs to reach as a reaction to an action by tangos. Same can be utilized for extended monitoring of Pak-Afghan border and can be diverted to any new front when needed. Its all about how much U prioritize CPEC and I can see China would do anything to protect its $46 billion investment here.

Just a noob question -Will the CH4/5 require satellites for operating extended ranges and will the Chinese provide these?

Unproven technology. When comes to drone, China is second only to US. Even Israel can't match China in drone. None of Israel drone can conduct multiple attack like China one.

Seems you know nothing about Israeli drones.
You need to know the difference between what's real and what's get published.
Let me give few articles so u'll maybe get a clearer picture
-The IDF does not comment on the arming of drones, but reports describe the Eitan being used for “armed roles” with missiles “attached to wing hardpoints,” as well as for target acquisition.[15] Used allegedly during several operations, will help government-owned IAI market its latest drone models as “combat-proven systems.”[16]
-One report stated that Israel deployed Eitans in its alleged 2009 airstrike against an alleged Gaza-bound Iranian arms convoy traveling through Sudan.[10]
-The Israeli Air Force, which operates a Hermes 450 squadron out of Palmachim Airbase south of Tel Aviv, has adapted the Hermes 450 for use as an assault UAV, reportedly equipping it with two Hellfire missiles or, according to various sources,[which?] two Rafael-made missiles. According to Israeli, Palestinian, Lebanese and independent reports, the Israeli assault UAV has seen extensive service in the Gaza Strip and was used intensively in the Second Lebanon War as well as in the 2009 Sudan air raids. Israel has not denied this capability, but to date, its policy has been not to officially confirm it either.

As if Chinese is novice in arm attacking drone? Chinese attack drone with multiple payload and proven combat kill is well known. There is a reason why we exported to more than 10 countries. Videos speak a thousand words. What's more , these are real life footage of combat by Iraq armed forces against ISIS. Not training or practice video. Care to show me Israel combat video of real life combat firing hell missile or whatever you claimed? :D

It is Israel that needs to prove better than Chinese when comes to drone.

Both. Satellite guidance will greatly extend the operating range.

Lol, so if there's no public evidence of such it means it doesn't exist?
Most of the IDF's capabilities are hidden from the public, and according to you they don't exist.
It's in China's best interest to show it's arm drone to the public, but not in Israel's.
Israel rather keep it's weapon hidden to avoid sanctions and human right groups knocking at it's door, same for it's nuclear weapons.
And as for exports, Israel is the largest exporter of drones worldwide

Bragging at its best. Just tell me you can't prove it. I will not laugh at you

Israel being a small country behind China is nothing to be ashamed of. Israel is active pursuing China -Israel r/s. Israel knows China will be the future super power :D

I don't need to prove nothing, I served in the artillery core in the Israeli Army, and I know exactly what I'm talking about.

I can't confirm nor deny possesion of armed drones in the Israeli army, so u can claim w/e u want regarding china domination in that field

So lack of evidence means evidence hahahaha seems the IDF is full of oxymorons nowadays lol.
