Dubai: Pakistan has introduced a new initiative as part of tourists friendly policy by allowing them to visit the earlier ‘out of bound’ areas across the country.

Pakistan Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has announced on Tuesday that the government has abolished the NOC (No Objection Certificate) which was required earlier for foreign tourists to visit certain areas in Pakistan.

The initiative is part of Pakistan’s new visa regime announced earlier this month to encourage tourism in the country.

Pakistan initially rolled out a project of visa free policy for five preferred countries including United Arab Emirates, Turkey, China, Malaysia, the United Kingdom.

  • In January, 2019, the governemnt had announced that it was easing travel restrictions in the hope of reviving tourism by offering visas on arrival to visitors from 50 countries and electronic visas to 175 nationalities.

Some of the major areas which will be open to foreign tourists include:

  • Pakistan-administered Kashmir
  • Gilgit-Baltistan
  • Chitral
Foreign tourists can now visit these area without obtaining an NOC. All the restricted areas are no open to foreign tourists.

Appreciate opening up corridors, this should have been from day 1 from independence. All religious circuits and pilgrimage places should not have restrictions.

Problem is getting a Tourist Visa to Pakistan is next to impossible :(
And even if one gets visa, he/she is limited to few cities only and no one gets access to the real raw nature of pakistan.

.
First thing , you did not even resolve Kashmir problem how would you expect Pakistan to open all corridors ??Second thing , when Pakistan calls you for table talks on all the matters , you run away like cocroaches blaming Pakistan for terrorism .

You cannot get Pakistani visa easily nor Pakistanis can get Indian visa easily .Problem exists on both sides .I have Heard that Hindus have a Holy Place in Balochistan which is considered to be the holiest site comparable to Muslims Hajj journey .But hardly few Hindus are able to reach there .

If India give up its ego and accept its brutal occupation on Kashmir , things can be very good for both countries .Pakistan and India can become tourist hub spot .
