Pakistan Is Willing To Provide All Possible Assistance for Reconstruction In Iraq

Rawalpindi–15 February, 2016

Pakistan is willing to provide all possible assistance for reconstruction in Iraq. This thought reached during a consultation of H.E. Dr. Ali Yassin Mohammad Karim, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq and Rana Tanveer Hussain, Minister of Defence Production (MoDP). They exchanged views on matters of common concern and improving collaboration in defence production.

“Pakistan and Iraq have been cooperating in the field of defence, mainly encompassing exchange of defence delegations. Pakistan supports the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Iraq”, said Rana Tanveer Hussain.

Rana Tanveer Hussain expressed hope that this meeting will further enhance bilateral defence relations. Pakistan is very much willing to provide skilled and semi-skilled man power to Iraq. Dr. Ali Yassin Mohammad Karim also expressed the importance of joint ventures. He mentioned that Pakistan and Iraq shares common enemy i.e. terrorism.


Pakistan and Iraq, brotherly Muslim counties, have traditionally enjoyed cordial relations. Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with Iraq. Pakistan is very much keen to further develop the existing cooperation with Iraq in all fields, including the defence sector.

No need to be surprised at poor Pakistan offering to build Iraq. Pakistan actually has a big cement industry because of massive limestone deposits in Pakistan. They are actually asking Iraqis, when you do built your country please buy cement from us.

Country that face corruption , loans , electricity , Gas and water shortage , no education for Millions of kids, no basic necessity for millions of its own citizen , worse road structure , weak Economy ..and we are proposing to help a country that floats on Oil ...

I said US not just me not just you;However with the current mentality we are going nowhere you are right.What you didn't understand from the article is that pakistan wants to export mazdoor,mistri,engineer to rebuild cities on their money not ours.

I see Iraqis as our brothers and sisters. I have a lot of love, sympathy and empathy for our Iraqi brothers and sisters. They are victims of a holocaust by the americans between 2003-12. Nothing was learnt at the end of WW2. The powerful see the lives of their race worth more than others. I wish the universe of success to the people and nation of Iraq.
