Pakistan is the World's Biggest Importer of Used Clothes

. . . .
its not only imported to be sold in local market most of the containers imported are sorted/graded packed into smaller bales and re exported to africa its a huge and profitable trade.

Pakistan exported $35 million worth of used clothes in 2016, according to the Economic Observatory at MIT.
Not sure if these are locally made/used or re-exports.

There is nothing wrong in buying used clothes, provided you can clean them properly. I have personally bought a major portion of my wardrobes and decors from Salvation Army shops. The markup on most of clothes sold in main-street stores is massive!

On a second though though. Think about this: Most of the daily clothing are actually coming from Bangladesh and China. US/Canada/West provide the branding on it mainly. I believe, Pakistan may do even better by buying new clothes with minor defects directly from Bangladesh and China and fix them and export it or sell it to local people.
