Indian army is stationed primarily to stop pakistan from considering any misadventure. The last thing we want is a war.
And yes I know, troops got involved in anti militancy operation, but now that JK police have the capability, they are the one who are going to deal with the violence now.

I am an Indian, and am completely against using army to deal with internal disturbance. State police with help of central police should deal with it( The way they are dealing with naxals, who are more dangerous than any kashmiri militant)

Also, I entirely understand why kashmiris are pissed off. Hope we listen to them more.

Jeez the tried and tested issue of Kashmir. It just goes on and on. Kashmir is such a convenient topic for any thing or person wanting to score points in the Asian sub-continent. The Pakistani government promising its people that they will seize Kashmir when they mess up on policies. The Chinese stapling visas when India ticks them off. The BJP wanting to hoist a flag in Lal Chowk. The Indian government using Kashmir as proof of its "minority religious senstivities" to win Muslim votes in India. Is there anybody else who hasnt taken up the "Kashmir cause" for their own selfish use yet ?
