Reading between the lines, China is gently reminding Pakistan not to go gaga over the new found rapproachement with India. I am surprised that the Chinese actually issued this statement. Me thinks the Chinese are a bit unsettled over how Pakistan responded to Modi's visit in terms of body language. The logical implication is that this was midwifed by the US/EU which is not perceived in purely positive terms by China. If it were russia, china would have been kept in the loop...
