Pretty hefty for a special forces unit carrier don't you think? A more agile and lighter option for SSG would be more practical as they need swift movement and rapid infil/exfil options.

Its primarliy intended for use on Afghan border for COIN and anti narcotics operations. At the moment Bell-412s/Mi-17s need AH-1F Cobra escort for insertions which is putting a strain on the Cobra fleet.

With the Mi-35 it can clear the LZ and provide cover after the insertion, freeing up the Cobra's for other work.

As per reports Pakistan has a eventual requirement for 20 Mi35s which will be ordered in batches small batches.

As far as i know, two batches were already confirmed, first delivered as well. Is this a third order or talking about same second order of 5 units mentioned few months back?

It seems Pak army is on a mission to ensure that every weapon in our inventory ends up looking ugly, whats with the shitty camo, they have even managed to make mi 35( which looks pretty badass in other camos) look shitty. This camo is not needed, its not like the heli needs it to hide, at night it doesnt matter either way, at day the sound gives it away from a mile.The green or grey camo wouldve kicked a ss but no we want to make it look shitty just as we like to paint our cruise missles orange. Appearances do matter. This shalwar kameez ke neche jogger mindset needs to go.
