I have a pretty sensitive stomach so I always travel with charcoal tablets...

I have a useless stomach courtesy of my grandma and dad....Who prevented exposure to "new" stuff...Hence the stomach reacts like a rebel on anything new :(

Yes, Biryani is famous in South East Asia...

However, they USED to have the indian style....so when they taste the Pakistani they like it :D

I think so too.. I have eaten the sticky rice.. a lot of Chinese, Vietnamese and Thai dishes..
May be we all can meet in Malaysia some day and bring our food :) and we don't eat anything Malaysian ....

How about rendang ? I think Rendang is quite famous word wide. Padang food or Minang Food is all over Indonesia and the center is in West Sumatra. BTW, your Indonesian/Malay language is still quite good :D

Oh I assure you they werent pranking you...You see the Malays have somehow managed to overcome the smell problem and enjoy the taste of the fruit...They claim when you overcome the smell the fruit is actually delicious...though many claim dont drink soft drinks with it coz it will make you feel drunk (some chemicals released by the fruit mixed with soda can give you a drunk feeling...not sure how true since I couldnt eat that fruit from hell)

The Malays are very proud of their fruit and SOME Europeans actually like it....

It smells like rotten cheese indeed very rotten and those Europeans who like strong smelly cheeses would like it. My experience was also not good it smells like some animal died in hot humid area and smells like rotten dead body as well.

Yes, Biryani is famous in South East Asia...

I like with Pakistani spices. I didn't like the taste of Indian spices..it was a bit different and strong.. I don't the proper words ..it was more like earthy smelling..strange one.. also a bit more on sour / acidic side. I don't like sour things normally except sour cream in some cakes

Okay bro... then I will try when I visit Indonesia.. I have been to Malaysia but for a very short duration so I eat only at the restaurant inside my hotel ..

Depends on which part of india....but yes some of them have acidic taste....
