Pakistan, India sign Kartarpur Corridor agreement today

I think that this fee is now part of the agreement and cannot be changed unilaterally.
At the end of the day kirtarpur is on Pakistani territory, the corridor was paid for by our money, and the idea was our good will.

We can and should change anything we want. Indians can accept it or go back to shitting in the streets.

I wish our gov't had shown the same zeal in bringing back the Karachi Circular Railway that it did for this corridor. Mixed up priorities...

This will generate foreign earned currency for Pakistan.

As for Karachi, I'm a Karachitte, and I believe Karachi should have a fully underground subway system not old stone age circular railway and thing. The land is in shortage, it should not be wasted on creating bus or railway corridors.

I think that this fee is now part of the agreement and cannot be changed unilaterally.

Can I see that clause which says that Pakistan cannot change the fee.

I have not specifically read the agreement, except that reported in media. But it is a general principle of agreements and treaties, that they cannot be changed unilaterally, by any party, unless specifically provided for, in the original agreement.

If true, that is dumb move by current govt. Pakistan should've kept the power of increasing the cost as it required.
