2- What are the terms of business/profits sharing between the company and state of Pakistan? Being the property of state, the oil MUST be refined in Pakistan, or not? We do not want to become another Nigeria.
3- The biggest worry is that the agreement was signed by non other then Shahid Khaqan Abbasi! Alarm bells ringing?

The facts are:

1. Exxon only purchased the offshore block in May this year. They have not yet started drilling.

2. Exxon block is in the Indus basin area, not near the Iranian border.

3. The Minister has already issued a clarification that he has been misquoted.

When Exxon has not even started drilling; how can any rational person believe the fake News “On the verge” of discovering huge deposits. This is similar to assuming that you have won the lottery when all you have done is to purchase the lottery ticket!

We may very be hopeful of finding the oil, but let alone actual discovery; even drilling has yet to start and the exploration site is about 700 Km East of Pak /Iran border. Shouldn't we wait until the results of drilling are known?
