all western types of such IPV/APC's are cost prohibitive. if the news is correct the army would be interested in the 120mm SP Mortar as it would be more effective than tanks being used in the FATA. about the numbers being quoted, i am doubtful as PA only orders in small batches.

Firstly its not confirmed. Secondly its a very bad idea. Our M113's are equally good and we already have plenty of experience in using them. The chinese APC looks like a BTR. Im not saying BTR is bad or anything, im just saying lets stick with what we have, especially since we have a license to manufacture M113's in as large a number as we want.
