Pakistan foiled India's attack plans by warning of severe retaliation: sources

Any kind of missile strike by any side will escalate the current volatile situation only . saynotowar.
So far Pakistan has only been responding to India. India is the one escalating. Standing by and doing nothing is not an option since it will only embolden India to carry out further misadventures. Giving a befitting reply is the only option...and in this tit for tat, it is India that should back down bcuz Pak would continue to reply.

. .
What’s the likelihood that Modi will try something again after he gets the pilot back?

Chances seem very low since the world will see India again as the aggressor. And this time around it’s not going to be the playful you cut down my trees and I cut yours. I hope Indian leadership realizes they are not dealing with the spineless nawaz this time around.

Pak forces too have a free hand now.

Addressing the Parliament yesterday, PM Imran Khan disclosed that there were intelligence reports that India had planned missile strikes on the night of 27th February on Six selected targets, the PM also said that Pakistan Army had taken positions to give an immediate response. More details have since emerged This was apparently in response to the devastating PAF action on the morning of 27th. The Indian Government could no longer rely on the IAF to execute the required strike missions hence it decided to try and hit six selected targets with missiles strikes. In reply the Pakistan Army had selected Twelve targets across India to be engaged by various types of it's own missiles while PAF would be on standby with ALCMs.
The main goal would be to hit three Indian targets for every Indian missile fired towards Pakistan. However realising the results of earlier misadventure and the subsequent devastation, the Indians postponed their action,
thy will taste ababel with many many warheads

. .
they have conventional superiority what would have prompted them to resort to such madness?
@Signalian
They wanted to use missiles instead of conventional weapons to avoid an incident like Abhianand falling into Pakistan's lap, but God plans best and the same thing happened.

. . . . .
You cannot differentiate between nuclear and conventional war head missile comming towards you, that could lead us to an accidental nuclear launch.

In Pak's case, "Development" means "Operational" and "Operational" means "Battle Tested".....

Does any one here is aware of the status of submarine based second strike capability of Pakistan. I know we were working towards it, and India most likely already have that. I think after this conflict this must be prioritised.
From this recent saga, I am pretty sure the world is now more than convinced it's not a joke to mess with Pak...

It will end both countries and will badly affect china i think world should force india to calm down
And, the world....

IMO it was just an empty threat to test waters....

@Signalian
Now, that conventional superiority has become a myth...
I am pretty sure they won't want the same for their strategic one too....
Firaun's magicians learnt it within a couple of minutes, and they died as Shehits...

India is the most stupid country (if we can call it a country) in the modern world.

Every 1-2 years gambling with the worst devastation for the region just to determine the outcome of their elections.

These idiots seriously need other issues to contest their elections.
Jahiliye continues...

It's a number of "influential" capitals where their Emperors are seeking "advice" from their "High Priests", who have keenly observed how their snakes were eaten up by the stick of a shepherd in rags....

Not necessarily .. could be targets like main power stations .. damns .. headquarters .. fighter pens
It's akin to getting into the road, made by splitting the Red Sea, in a hot pursuit.....

What’s the likelihood that Modi will try something again after he gets the pilot back?
It's not Modi, but the folks who control Modi...

Yes, they wanted to hit Kamra and Peshawar airbases. Fools do not know the consequences of the lunacy.
A Pharaoh can have seven sons, but those seven sons don't make that Pharaoh...

Cant say much but we did test a submarine launched version of a cruise missile.
But one thing's for sure that Pakistan's nuclear assets are on the move to avoid destruction and Air Launched Cruise Missiles are there for 2nd strike.
