What's new

Pakistan fighter pilot wins battle of sexes, now she's ready for war.

I don't if she would be ever allowed to carry out missions in India air-space in times of war.
Yeah, probably just Combat Air Patrols (CAPs) over VAs in their own territory.

But it's ironic that though Muslims are considered more conservative, their women are allowed to fly fighter jets unlike the IAF which has debarred Indian women from flying fighters, relegating them to choppers and transport aircraft only.

I think it's high time the IAF changes its rules. But the main issues dogging the IAF are:

> What would happen to them if they are shot down over enemy territory.
> Family problems including maternity leaves meaning less flying hours.
> Monthly periods. You can't be wearing a g-suit during these periods! That means grounding every month for a week at least!!

I wonder how the PAF is coping with these issues?

good to see i wish they have some 15-20 female fighter pilots soon .

She is a full fighter pilot, based upon on her merit. PAF has invested a lot in her training, it would be a shame if she just sat and did nothing in time of war. When she joined the airforce, she knew it wasn't going to be a 9-5 job.

If the time comes she'll send her love to India with 500 lb-ers. If you know what i mean.:sniper:

Pakistan first fighter pilot was from Baluchistan. Will post her pic. Don t know if she still flying. Someone had posted her pic.

Yep. She was a Hazara girl. She is still serving in Pakistani Air Force, today.

She's a female so what?

She has completed one of the hardest fighter pilot training program in the world. She's as good as men PAF pilots.

Im looking forward to when she becomes a squadron leader and issues commands to the men on the radio. :pakistan:

Whats so doubtful about it, that she's a girl?

Come on man, i can safely say that she's better trained than your male pilots. Joining AFA Risalpur to graduating from FCC is easier said than done.

Only downside of female GDPs however is that they become physically less resistent to the G forces after the child birth.

Sir its not easy taking risk of sending her to India for missions in case of crash and if she aborts you know our beloved neighbors so better defend Pakistan within borders of Pakistan rather than sending into enemy area

You are laughing, but come see for yourself.

What do you want him to watch exactly ?

its NOT about whether they will be sent to war or not, it's about the timing. If you're a female, and up flying then you're going in to engage the target.

Captain Riel "Guns" Erickson became the first Canadian Female fighter pilot to intercept a Russian "Bear"
