i still have this video of the complete air show. it is not justified to compare the aerobatics of the two jets at that time as JFT at that time was a relatively new machine and pilots were not pushing the air craft to its limits. on the other hand F-16 A blk 15 is probably the most agile and proven jet in the world. even today F-16 is more maneuverable then any block of the thunder. there are videos in DCS comparing the capabilities of JFT and F-16 and F-16 surpasses thunder in most of the cases. in one of the video in DCS gun fights between JFT and mirage 2000 are done and mirage 2000 simply humiliates the thunder. dont know how close to reality that DCS is.

the vertical rolls by that F-16 were probably the best ever done by a pakistani F-16 pilot. never seen such a performance by any other pakistani pilot.

IMO PAF will use a mix force of the thunders and the falcons for any aerial engagement with the indian fighters. the role of the thunder will only be in BVR combat. it will get even better if it gets the PL 15 missile. JFT has got the capability of carrying only two bvr missiles right now. both the thunders and the falcons will engage the enemy fighters in BVR role and if the enemy still survives and has the desire for close combat then i think JFTs will disengage and let the falcons handle the situation.

JF17 is no match of F16.. I will prefer F16 at any given day
