Pakistan Engllish Newspaper reflecting Common people mindset

I have a question for pdf posters from Pakistan? Which newspaper do you guys feel that really represent mindset of people of Pakistan? Any suggestion....

English press in Pakistan represents a small minority of middle and rich class readers. You would never find a news about Pakistan's real issues on English media, they serve their audience with what they want to read..Pakistan's real issues are not one of them.

Pro US ?

Pakistani state was with the US in CENTO, SEATO. It fought a joint Jehad in the 80s with the US, Now Pakistan is a major NON NATO ally - Quite a few Pakistani Generals were trained in US war colleges.

And you are worried about a newspaper being Pro -US?

Same in India. The english version will be more resonable but hindi version is for semi literates and illeterates. The choice of news items and programs will reflect the segment.

Ok...I can understand now....Usually i try to go through "The News" and "Express Tribune"..Express tribune is of course seems to be for elite and reach people...But i was thinking "The News" may be somehow related to the pulse of the people..Anyway...I agree and understand opinion of pdf posters from Pakistan..

Express Tribune is an American owned Newspaper and everyone knows its agenda.

DAWN by far is the best English daily from Pakistan.

Yes. The responsibility of anything Pakistani is to be pro-Pakistani and pro-Pakistani alone period. Don't care if its the Indians, Americans or Mother Teresa herself.

Simple...Apart from "The News" which i still feel that is the best option for me,i will try to go for Dawn. I donot have any good knowledge about Urdu...But in case any specific topic is needed for my presentation, I may use google translator for getting some information. But since last one year, PDF is very much helpful to me in providing a lot of critical perspective of Pakistan people and their perspective.
