Actually the Indians had demanded this land route to open, this was done at the request of Afghans. I can understand ,Well Afghanistan is a land locked country and need help, economic support, assistance.
But in another thread, it is the other way,” Pakistan approached Afghanistan its willingness to discuss the resumption of trade between Afghanistan and India through the Pakistani land route”, says a senior US diplomat.
