Pakistan has offered to "enhance" its defence co-operation with Sri Lanka, raising expectations that the two South Asian countries will continue to discuss a deal for Sri Lanka to purchase a batch of Sino-Pakistani-produced JF-17 Thunder fighters.

A Pakistani government statement issued following a meeting between Rana Tanveer Hussain, Pakistan's minister of defence production, and Major General Jayanath Lokuketagodage (retd), Sri Lanka's ambassador to Islamabad, on 15 March said, "Pakistan has always proposed futuristic defence co-operation to Sri Lanka. As one of the largest suppliers of high-tech defence equipment, Pakistan played an important role in assisting Sri Lanka to defeat terrorism."

Sri-Lanka is slowly getting less dependent for Indian aid; soon they wont be able to be blackmailed and further blackmail attempts will only lead to deterioration in relations like what happened in Nepal.

Hi,

Actually if you see how China has positioned itself in South China sea, it has far more better positioned itself as compared to India and yet troubles are still stirring up. so the notion of trade is just out of context here I believe

Keep your retarded theories to yourself and stick to facts . Our relations are as tight as EU states . I can kill a few minutes to explain this

Bhutan :
  • Has open borders with India
  • 25% of Bhutans GDP is from indian aid
  • currency equalized , BN =1INR
  • provides subsidised trade
Nepal

  • Has open borders with India, 7 Millions Nepalese live in India
  • provides subsidised trade .
  • Currency equalized .
  • Biggest military aid provider .
  • Nepali soldiers are hired to work for the indian army .
Bangladesh

  • settled the most complex enclaves in history without any disputes in 2012
  • Open economic corridor with India
  • Biggest partners in joint military exercises.
  • Trust in service & barter system (exchange of resources )
Afghanistan

  • India is the biggest costumer of Afghan exports.
  • Provides military aid & equipment
  • Built multi billion dollar projects for free
  • Included Afghanistan into India Iran corridor

We should promote our relationship with Sri Lanka as much as possible.

Keep dreaming maybe it will become true. India needs needs Bangladesh and they know this , our status quo has been the same since 71 .

In case you haven't noticed , east India is connected by a chicken neck . its the reason we haven't imposed anything on them. It is the reason we went that far to keep such close relationship with each other .

Not even the country that made the JFT wants the JFT.

The whole world hates islamists.

Again? The Tejas has never been offered. And the question of rejection or acceptance hasn't even arisen. In fact it is only just being inducted into the home country's air force.

The Chinese JF-17 was offered, and rejected by Sri Lanka. Twice. Not even China wants it, despite having developed it.
China has J10 so that it not need JFT........THey are almost same in specs......so Chinese only cost the maintainance of JFT secondly Srilanka has cancelled the deal with Pakistan and give priority to Indian Tejas now as it failed they are coming back to Pakistani JFT.......!!!!!....China not offered JFT to Srilanka .....Pakistan offered but they rejected.....!!!!......JFT is "MADE IN PAKISTAN" Always keep it in your mind it is made by help of China but it is a Pakistani product and is made in Pakistan.....

For speaking the truth?
HEY you there.....Don't said any thing about our religion........I will vanish you out........Its a last warning......IF you said any thing again about ISLAM.......I am telling you that will not be good for you........
