Tidbits:
1. On 29th March 2018 Pakistan Navy conducted the first,
completely successful, flight trial of the Babur-III SLCM from an
operational vessel. However the ambiguity in nomenclature for the launch platform will be officially maintained. All kinds of doubts and denial (from the other side of the border) on weapon integration with an operational vessel should be put to rest. Of course a few more trials will be required before initiating production and subsequent induction.
2. A clearer boost-phase video reveals the SLCM launch mechanism. The encapsulated weapon is ejected by a torpedo tube, after which the single booster ignites under water and propels the weapon out of the water. As the weapon ascends, the capsule slides off, the booster separates and wings/air intake deploy.
3. The range limit is 450km, imposed by the physical restrictions of the torpedo tube of the operational vessel.
@The Deterrent No NavArea Warnings. This is likely tested in the earlier series of tests. Video released today.
Excuse me for the late reply. No, this time again PN chose not to publish the Navigational Warning online, just like back when Shaheen-III's first test flight was getting delayed. The reason is not known, we've probably being bothering them a lot lately.
The test flight was conducted at the date of the press release. A corresponding NOTAM for that date (for the sake of an online "link") can be seen below. However, the video is not completely new, its easy to figure out which part is old.

@Arsalan
I dont know if you have observed the weird coincidence but last time America announced sanctions on NESCOM and related entities in December 2016, Pakistan revealed BABUR-III and Ababeel existence very next month
America sanctioned 7 Pakistan nuclear related entities last week . Pakistan announced the test of Babur-III shortly afterwards. Let's see if we see Ababeel test or not
These coincidences are just coincidences. Missile development requires serious project planning and like any other project, has milestones and deadlines, independent of the political signalling. Pakistan withholds confirmation of only unsuccessful tests (with the exception of classified systems).
Intake isn't the point man. It's just an additional point, hence especially.
(A submerged intake gives extra advantage.)
Pakistan is working on reducing Babur family's RCS using various means such as the one being referred to here.
