Its in the mindset actually. They have always seen Bangladeshis as weak inferior people. And they have always seen their army as martial and superior to others. And in 1971 this martial army was defeated and the inferior Bengalis formed a country of their own. Their military was pretty much responsible for what happened. And they controlled pretty much everything. And made this narrative that Bengalis sided with Hindus...they will be poor without Pakistan. This narrative worked for some time. BD was among the poorest and development was very slow. While back then Pakistan improved fast. But somewhere they lost the track and BD managed to find theirs. So Poor hungry Bangladeshis narrative would no longer work. So they came up with this narrative. That BD is a slave to India to make themselves feel good. Acknowledging BD's good work would mean acknowledging their failure in East Pakistan. And military were responsible for that. So to hide that they make this feel good narratives. It's sad. Because this blindness will harm them in the long run more than it already does. Read around in this forum and you'll see Pakistanis blaming everyone else. Blaming America, Blaming India, blaming Afghanistan for everything while never acknowledging their own shortcomings. And thinking CPEC will magically solve everything(I'm not saying it wouldn't). This is a very bad thing. Same with some BD people as well. Blaming India, China and Myanmar for various problems. Others will do what they see fit. If BD acts weak then others will take advantage of it. No point whining. Take responsibility for your own actions/inactions. Recognize your failures and weaknesses and work towards solving them. Blaming others is very bad because it diverts your attention from your failures thus not allowing you to recognize you weaknesses and improve upon them.
