Pakistan concerned as Bangladesh hands six Jamaat leaders death penalty

@Cannon Fodder is from Bangladesh. In top 40 LDC in the world. Go easy on him.
Pakistan's pee capita is less than a that of a LDC. Good going guys. You are on the path towards greatness it seems. Be concerned as much as you want about war criminals. We will hang the ones we can get. And your concern won't save them.

I see a lot of nice comments about BD by Pakistani members. Guys BD is doing fine. Worry about yourself. Your country is among the most unsafe country in this planet. Do something about it. Its your policies that made East Pakistan seek independence and its your policies that made Pakistan among the most unsafe country. Take responsibility and act responsibly. You have way too much problem of your own to be worrying about some old half dead war criminals. Sort your priorities.

Exactly what he said, @Spring Onion

Bangladesh utterly demolished the two nation theory with their decision. They CHOSE what they wanted, let them have it. Just ensure our citizens are safe, we have no need for business with them
Pretty much this.

In the real world, Bangladesh is on this list of vulnerable countries.
Pakistan is not

Bangladesh is a weak country

Yep. And in the real world BD has a higher per capita nominal gdp than Pakistan. BD is a poor country....and definitely not a strong country either. It is the truth. And I have no shame accepting it. But what does that say for Pakistan? Tell me how amazingly developed, rich and safe it is?

One of the most.

If we're going into d!ck measuring then tell me should we compare life expectancy, literacy rate, terrorism index or things like that? You will outscore us in every military related comparison. But military doesn't effect everyone in the country, does it?

@truthseer Actually Bangladesh is deliberately kept itself in LDC category to enjoy benefits out of it, that is why Bangladesh's export is much larger than a big country like Pakistan. Bangladesh doesnt fit into LDC by large margin compared to its closest LDC. It will be like this 2025-30.
Has Bangladesh gained from its LDC status?

Dude Pakistan's trade deficit is like half of their national budget. And their Debt is like 60% of their GDP.

.
Good Job Bangladeshi Gov. Anyone proven guilty of siding the enemy during 71 independence war ( the Razzakars) and commiting crimes. Need to be dealt with. Bangaldesh has place for Razzakars in its land.

Eitto Ghiringi bandhaya dilen rey bhai. :-)

Now all Indian psycho trolls will come say that these are 'BBS lies'.

Dude Pakistan's trade deficit is like half of their national budget. And their Debt is like 60% of their GDP.

Thak bhai - let's not be ungrateful rude guests, it is their forum after all. We are guests here.

We cannot measure all Pakistanis by the actions/words of a few.

A lot of Pakistanis still consider us Bangladeshis to be their brother. Let's not alienate them.

GDP isn't the most important metric

If it is not - then what could be more important?

What metric could one use to show a country's success economically?

I say this out of my concern for Pakistan, and nothing else. The last thing we should do is comparison.

Pakistan is a far more diverse economy than Bangladesh - and things could be simply turned around.

Hating on Bangladesh for its GDP improvement like some are doing here is pointless.

This is the achievement of the people and the private sector in Bangladesh.

Policy-wise the Bangladeshi govt. did help somewhat but it was minimal.

Politicians as usual are there to take credit but all they did was siphon off money. That is their sole achievement.

.
why compare Bangladesh to Pakistan?

Bangladesh is behind Pakistan on most indices and human development.

Nope. Its Pakistan that is behind. Check HDI. And other indexes before making this kind of arrogant statements.

Its funny, Bengalies are here trying to compare Bangladesh with Pakistan.. Bangladesh is like another state of India..Virtually its governed by India..Bangladesh can only extend relations with China, Pakistan or even Sri Lanka to an extent New Delhi nods it to. Its sad Bangladesh have hardworking people but the geography and demography is against them. A chankiya nation surrounding it from three sides. while a little strip with a monk country its planning to go war with..I believe in Bengali people, they can fix everything, corruption, poverty, health but in the end they will still have to kiss Modis feet to ensure their sovereignty. Its not much different to living on an island controlled by a regional power regardless of how many casinos you have over it. In the end fate of India decides the fate of Bangladesh. This is a great tragedy for a nation whose forefathers played a big role in independence from the British Raj. Dont confuse or hinder your reality with a mere economic indicator like gdp which is only good as long as you keep it that way.But thats just one of the many things. And surely it doesn't give an insight to what your status as a nation is.
@ topic Whatever you do dont drag Pakistan into your petty politics.Your political elite is stil l stuck in its past trying to do away with its identity crisis.. Secondly , yes there are people around the world who feel for your sentenced jamat e islami leaders ..why?because jamat e islami is not a monolith, it has its sister political parties in Pakistan (jamiat pakistan) , Egypt(Muslim brotherhood), Palestine (hamas), Turkey(justice party) , yeman(alislah) and so on..Its a global phenomena.

Take care of your own sovereignty before worrying about others. You know where US conducts airstrikes from time to time. It's funny to see Pakistanis talking about another country's sovereignty. And @Topic it's your country showing concern over our internal matter. And it's not Jamiat Pakistan.

lolzzz please keep two-nation theory out of this. Two nation theory did not or does not mean that ALL Muslim regions in the world should be merged into one state. It is simply the truth that is why today there is differences between BD and India. You cannot forced Hindutva ideology on Bangladeshis no matter if they sided with India in 71. Two Nation theory is very much alive. Incorporating word secular or Islamic in the constitution does not mean those states have either become secular or Islamic.
