That describes Pakistan, not Bangladesh.

I always thought Pakistan made a big mistake by not prosecuting its own generals, commanders, and soldiers for war crimes after the 1971 war. But Z.A. Bhutto simply stuck the report he commissioned in his back pocket as a stick to keep commanders in line. So when the P.O.W.s were returned and the remainder of Pakistan calmed down, it's not surprising that Zia's coup had so much support from the military.

And it appears - please correct me if I'm wrong - that anything like the concept of applying a human conscience to Pakistanis' actions was excised from Pakistanis' education curriculum and political debate ever since.

Its not only Pakistan,but Bangladesh also should recall the high commissioner from Pakistan .

It's just civil war at that moment. Imagine about a love story , that two brother/friend fall for one girl and at the end no one is successful and the girl is married to another one.
