This MAP will be useful for Pakistan and China during the negotiations after a ceasefire requested by India post two front war.

Imran Khans is correct when he says that there is only a political solution to Kashmir. That said Pakistan would need to enforce this political solution with force.

Pakistan has a treaty with China about the establishment of border after the Independence of Jammu and Kashmir.

Not After the "Independence" [which is the proposed third option] but after the "Resolution" of Kashmir as per UN Resolution [for this listen exact words of Shah Mahmood @7:12]

BTW with this move Pakistan has closed all possibilities of any negotiations on 2nd, 3rd or even 4th Option related to Kashmir dispute ....

I like how they are playing it, This time Pak isn’t going alone, Rather China is the main Party and Pak is playing wise by not de marking it’s own territory with China.
This leaves a room for Pak China Negotiation to which India is a Kabab Haddi or obstacle

PM Imran releases new Pakistan map that includes occupied Kashmir

ISLAMABAD - In a historic movie, Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday released fresh and official political map of Pakistan, showing the whole of Indian occupied Kashmir as part of the country.

Earlier, the map was approved by the federal cabinet in a meeting held earlier today.

The release of the new map comes a day before Pakistan and whole Kashmiris are set to observe “Day of Exploitation” to protest abrogation of Article 370 by India on August 5 last year to revoke the special status of the occupied Kashmir.

Addressing the event, the prime minister said that all Pakistan and Kashmir leaders have thrown weight behind the new political map of the country.

He called for resolving the Kashmir issued by implementing UN Security Council’s resolutions regarding right to self-determination.

The premier also called it a historic day as it represents the ambition of Pakistanis.

We need to start referring to Kashmir as Northern Pakistan more and more and pass an act to integrate it into Pakistan.

Bearing in mind that essentially this removes all further potential for a plebiscite by Kashmiris and identifies the issue as purely a bilateral territorial dispute.

Not sure what the merits of either approach are but this does shut the door on a Kashmiri driven approach to the conflict.

Hopefully we both consulted allies on this and have their support.
