I second that. If it is humanitarian aid, then it should go through red cross.

this $380 million aid that we are talking about is to rehabilitate the internally displaced people. If that is the case, the Red Cross should step in. That will at least stop the Pakistani elites and politicians eating away half of the money.

WASHINGTON: Pakistan is blaming India for the Obama administration holding back aid to Islamabad, amid calls in the US for a re-evaluation of Washington's munificent policy towards a country that continues to foster terrorists.

1) The Pentagon today issued an extensive statement on Pakistan being a victom of terrorism herself. So the aid isn't getting cancelled, something will be given, but through different channels so it gets to the right people who need it.

2) Reality of the matter is, the lobby works in the US. Pakistan, instead of crying should spend some $$$$ on lobbying. That may be better. Another thing will be to remove "We hate America" content from this site and other public places and have soften tones so the American tax payers can see a different attitude from the Pakistanis.

Right now, the feeling in America is that they want everything from America and they hate us the most too. That's not really a good sentiment to get someone to commit $$$$....
