Pakistan beat India to win gold

LAHORE (APP) – Pakistan outshone arch-rivals Indian to win the Kabbadi gold of the South Asian Beach Games at Hambantota, Sri Lanka on Tuesday.

In the ultimate showdown, Pakistan overcame India with and won by 42-33 after demonstrating astute planning and vast stamina on part of its best players. Teams from Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Maldives and Afghanistan are participated in the kabaddi event, said an information made available here on Tuesday.

Nasir Ali led the victorious Pakistan team with the help of member players Wajid Ali, Abrar Khan, M Khalid, Akhlaq Hussain and Atif Waheed while Ahmed Nadeem was coach and Raja Asrar was manager.
