Pakistan bashing has become fashion in India: Salman Bashir

NEW DELHI - Pakistan’s High Commissioner to India Salman Bashir on Thursday called for toning down “Pakistan bashing” in India following clashes along the Line of Control (LoC) between the two armies.
In an interview to an international news agency, Bashir also reiterated Pakistan’s offer for foreign minister-level talks to try to cool tensions.
“I think it is important not to let this cycle escalate into something which becomes even more ugly than it is today,” Bashir said. “Let’s try to see if we can cool down and resume normal business.”
The envoy said instead of indulging in “Pakistan bashing”, New Delhi could have approached Islamabad to get to the bottom of what happened instead of “stirring raw emotions and upping the rhetoric”. Bashir was referring to the January 8 gruesome killing of two Indian troops on the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch District.
He said that “Pakistan bashing has become fashionable” in India.
Bashir denied that Pakistani troops were behind the killing of the soldiers on the Indian side of the LoC.
“Such heinous acts ... are of course condemnable irrespective of where they happen and when they happen. But to say that these were done by Pakistan, that the Pakistan Army was responsible, is something that we cannot agree to,” he said.
Bashir said the Pakistani Army and government could not speculate on who might have been behind the attack.
He pointed to an offer made on Wednesday by Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar to her Indian counterpart for talks to ratchet down the tension.
“Pakistan definitely desires de-escalation and definitely feels that the only way forward is through dialogue,” he said.

Nobody is holier than thou here and both share the same thing. Isn't it happening in Pakistani media? talks about India's cultural invasion via TV and Cinema, talks about Indian subversive activities, the state of India's Muslims and how India is a secular sham??

If it is becoming fashion now, in Pakistan its like a test of your being Pakistani may be.

Pakistan bashing is done because of reasons that are evident. Even entire world bashed India on rape issue. Pakistan gets bashed on terrorism.

BTW, comparison with India and whining about India is also a fashion in Pakistan. I have shared so many videos of serious talk shows where they always compare Pakistan with India.

And as for Pakistan bashing by Indians, well when you send Kasab what do you expect from us ? Flowers ? When news of beheading of soldiers came, what you expected ? We will clap on this ?

Every country bashes its enemy. Whether its US who even made movies like Rambo killing hundreds of Russians, Iran (Argo), Vietnam (Platoon), Chinese on war crimes done by Japanese (The flowers of the war), etc. etc.

Should I give examples from Pakistan ?

Bashing of enemy sells in every country. Its just good business. Anyone with common sense can see it. BTW there is a famous saying -

"Common Sense is not so Common".

As long as we are not bashing Islam and muslims and not converting muslims to any other religion on our national television , I am pretty sure we are doing far better than Pakistan.

Pakistanis , for a change must start introspecting .

India bashes them , so do people in countries like USA , UK, Australia ,Canada and plenty of other European countries.

Afghanistan bashes them and fellow country Egypt's citizens were also making fun of them while insulting Hillary.

If countries nearby, countries so far away including some muslim countries are bashing them , then there must be something severely wrong with them ? Some introspection and change in attitude will take Pakistan a long long way, but no matter what , it just doesn't seem to happen .

Some news anchors , writers and their few supporters have the power and will to introspect , but that is just not enough

Well when ever , India has civil war or , internal issues e.g on NATIONAL level

Example: A city people leave due to persecution , due to sms -> Indian government says its due to Pakistan ? lol what
Example: People come to streets to protest rape -----> Indian government panics and starts blaming Pakistan ? Really ..

However its own Hindu , extremist groups it dares not challenge .. example expulsion of Pakistani Hockey players from country due to extremist groups...


India at some point will have a cvil war no doubt

Even the consensus of Muslims in India is faked , I mean they keep reporting old 12-13 year old population and they have not increased that population figure for at least 20 years..

Pakistan's population is 180 Million , so Indian population must be at least 400 Million because since partition there were more muslims in India then in Pakistan ... however their flawed consensus shows in India there are only 170 Million muslims lol which is a figure hard to imagine
considering every Muslim in India has 7-8 kids
