Mohsin Dawar and Ali Wazir.
Two Pakistani parliamentarians and human rights campaigners who were set to travel to Kabul on Sunday to attend President Ashraf Ghani's swearing-in ceremony said that they were barred by their government at the airport.

The two lawmakers, Ali Wazir and Mohsin Dawar, who also leaders of Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM), were at Peshawar airport when they were barred from leaving for Kabul.

“We are going back as we were not allowed to fly to Kabul. FIA told us quite explicitly that the military has barred us from leaving the country,” Dawar said on Twitter referring to the Federal Investigation Agency is a border control, criminal investigation, counter-intelligence and security agency.

“This is what elected Pashtun MNAs (Members of National Assembly) have to go through in Pakistan. This is the fate of an elected Pashtun representative in Pakistan,” he said.

“Sending best wishes to Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani on his re-election & thanks to all the Afghans who invited us and those who were waiting to welcome. Also thanks to the Afghan Ambassador in Pakistan Atif Mashal for his efforts to resolve this issue,” Dawar said.

President Ghani’s second-term inauguration is scheduled to be held tomorrow (Monday).

Can sole one fcking arrest Ali Wazir he has a case of sedition against him

Govt. of Pakistan shall not issue passports to every one, first citizens should clarify their tax returns and than provide purpose of travel and than passport shall be issued.
Finally controlled at airport, their cash shall be checked, most travelers are carriers of foreign currency.

Imran Khan has no such instructions from his handlers.

we should let them go and let us deal with them there in afghan way :) .

Bazari Kabulis and their bazari KabuliMedia!

Pakistan has paid blood and treasure for past 20yrs and the source of terrorism was/is Kabulistan.

And now when we are so close to getting Afghanistan back.. we are not going to be blackmailed by any bazaris...be it internal or in Kabulistan!

POTUS has read the writing on the AfghanWall and declared that IEA will be the power in Aghanistan.

Time for bazari Kabuliz to leave!

Pashtun brothers should be reunited..people to people contact is the best..How would rest of the Pakistanis feel if Pak govt stopped them from going to Western countries as they do now and settle there?

Salaam

Good thing these people have decided to continue backing Ashraf Ghani - despite the obvious developments taking place in Afghanistan after the treaty.

They say they are pashtun mNAs being stopped by the government which is led by a Pashtun.

I wonder why these two rats were freed and spared in first place . Whether few Generals in elite are corrupt or compromised or military want to play game with these scumbag traitors .

half cooked news with only PTM stance.
The truth was that both their names were blacklisted due to cases on them. They cannot go abroad until cleared by the court.
