Since before 1971 Pakistan has been producing very high quality heavy bed-sheets, curtains, pillow covers etc. as well as many beutifully disigned and embroidered salwar/kameez. There may be many other such products that our citizens are fond of.
In case of BD, we are mostly producing textiles that have export markets in the western markets. So, we need Pakistani goods to satisfy our local consumers.
Pakistan produces vast amount of cotton that we are in need.
At the same time we can do lots of joint venture in textile and specially in composite textile.
There are scope to do joint venture light engineering specially in auto parts and other areas which can translate into many other industries.
Bangladesh produces world class float glass and Pakistan can leverage that. See picture of some of these float glass used in Bangladeshi building.

In agro sector there are great opportunities for co operation.
Defense manufacturing or even production is another area.
In education, Pakistan has provided some scholarship in post graduate level and there are room for cooperation there.
But most importantly in IT sector Bangladesh and Pakistan private sector can florish by coperating.

I do not know about scholarship provided by PK to BD students. Bangladeshi talent students have well record in abroad. If this news is true then I'm very glad to hear it. There should be some collaborations in student level between these two countries.

Iaj, in fact, it amuses me -- that we do not have any co-operation amongst the educational institution in the region. Are you aware of any area where the institutes are having any mutual arrangment (other than the student exchange programs!) ?

BD public universities cant arrange any exchange program as their student admissions are highly regulated as well as their annual budget. No university can just admit any foreign student rather they only take govt funded students from foreign countries. It is due to the fact that university education is free and paid by the tax payers.
In regards to private universities, you know that they are not here for charity. There are plenty of foreign students here and all have to pay their tuition.

Anti-cancer drugs now made in Bangladesh
