The two leaders exchanged views on international issues including Iran's nuclear issue, reports said.

President Musharraf stressed the need of combined efforts to make the Muslim World economically developed and said leaders of Islamic countries should take urgent steps to promote trade and investment among their countries.

The President informed the distinguished guest that Pakistan was marching on road to economic prosperity due to various pragmatic policies and reforms undertaken during the last seven years.

"Continuity in the economic policy of the country has paid dividends," he added.

He said, "We are now taking measures to consolidate economic development."
President Musharraf pointed out that there existed ample opportunity of foreign investments in the country in various fields.

He said that his Government has provided congenial atmosphere for local and foreign investments.

President Musharraf invited the Bahraini investors to invest in Pakistan.

"Foreign investors can earn profits by making investments." On this occasion, the Bahrain's Crown Prince appreciated the economic progress achieved by Pakistan. He hoped that as a result of his visit the two countries will come further closer and ties in the economic and defence fields will be more strengthened.

The Crown Prince assured that his country will take advantage of the Pakistani manpower and added private sector will be encouraged to employ Pakistani workforce.
