Pakistan awards Jinnah Scholarship to over 300 Sri Lankan students

Pakistan has awarded scholarships to over three hundred Sri Lankan students under Jinnah Scholarships Scheme, reported Radio Pakistan.

A ceremony to this effect was held in Sri Lankan city of Kandy.

Applauding the successful students, the Acting High Commissioner of Pakistan, Janbaz Khan reiterated Pakistan's commitment to contribute to enhancing Sri Lanka's younger generation's prospects for better educational opportunities.

The scholarships scheme was launched in 2006 and has since benefited 1800 Lankan students so far.

education should get first priority .

People can't afford college education in US but still they invite all world to compete in full bright scholarships!!

education is must , soldiers can do with less food , army should not get 60 percent of budget . you know best.
