Pakistan Army's Resistance in 1965 - Psychological Impact on IA brass.

" Aap ki sari tarikh dekho, Eak dusro khi gardhano kaatne per mushtamil hai." This is what your own Hassan Nisar sir has said about your tarikh.
Hassan nisar is working for geo news so one can expect such things from him.

I am sorry sir, I just have to disagree with you here. Even if an Indian Defense Minister said that Pakistanis could have traveled to Delhi, if they had broken through Indian defenses on banks of River Beas, that was still a speculation about a hypothetical scenario. We can not make thread titles about speculations on top of hypothetical scenarios especially when the body of the text is vastly different. Such Titles make for massive trolling and headaches.

It's poster's choice to tile it, not yours. You are abusing your status as a mod to change it. As to trolls, they are dime a dozen and need no excuse to do trolling. Your job is to stop the trolls, not change the content or title of a perfectly valid post based on a serious book relying on the diaries of India's defense minister in 1965.

I really have 2 words for this thread.Asal uttar.Google it.You will know what happened to the wannabe conquerors of delhi.
Mate let's not talk about Asal Uttar as most of the Pakistani posters will say that it was totally a fictional battle and their army was indeed at the gate of Delhi by the time of the ceasefire declaration. They won't even believe all the neutral sources that are currently available in the internet let alone the words from an Indian. We Indians know what happened in Asal Uttar,so i think there is no need to convince some guys who don't want to be waked up from their delusional dreams.:-)

He also said not to look at history with prejudice. If you keep glorifying the barbaric past and ignore the past mistakes then they will come back to haunt you.

I want to ask a question, For reaching delhi, One need to conquer Punjab and then Haryana or other solution is first Rajasthan and then Haryana, Your army didnt even able to conquer Amritsar. and you talking about Delhi.
"According to Indian claims, at the end of hostilities on 23 September 1965, India held about 200 square miles (518 square kilometres)of Pakistani territory in the Sialkot sector including the towns and villages of Phillora, Deoli, Bajragarhi, Suchetgarh, Pagowal, Chaprar, Muhadpur, Tilakpur,Thro Mandi, Khanpur Sydan, south east and east of Sialkot city, which were returned to Pakistan after the Tashkent Declaration in January 1966. Likewise, by the end of the hostilities, Pakistan held up to 1,600 square miles of Indian territory, of which 1,300 square miles included desert sectors.Despite the "huge losses on both sides", The Australian attributed the victory in this battle to Pakistan"...... by: Rao, K.
