Pakistan Army troops shot down Indian Spy Quadcopter in Bagh Sector along Line of Control. DG ISPR

Who is flying these drones into pakistani side of LOC. I doubt tourists :P

They fly these so that they can deny they tried to spy...

.
Sending a military grade drone would point fingers towards IA, so a commercial drone is sent across LOC and on this pretext IA can deny its involvement easily. However, 2nd drone in two days shows desperation of intel and monitoring on enemy's end.

do you think he fabricated it???
would you as a civilian or hobbyist like to fly a drone over a military held sensitive area like LOC in Kashmir or DMZ in Korea ? please be sensible

.
No need to shot down it it can be easily neutralized by simple hacking I think if we hack them and enable them to transmit wrong information back to india it will be more damaging for them than shot down

. .
There is nothing to wounder, it's a civilian drone that has limited battery time and can lose signal extremely easily due to terrain, in fact it's recommended to not fly around valleys or obstructions because you will likely lose cantact with the drone. It was clearly no shot down though, and in war zones drones are lost often, real drones not cheap civilian drones.

Waste of time arguing with those with pre-conceived agenda. Keyboard warriors ....

SSG isn't deployed on LOC.SSG is top tier, elite unit one of the best in world. We don't use them as foot soldiers.

BAT aren't foot soldiers, they don't patrol the LOC like the normal grunts.
They are specialised small interdiction teams that attack and then go back across the LOC.
Only special forces would attempt something like the above, so yes they were in all probability SSG.

Pakistan has number of SoF units and SSG is top tier one. They aren't deployed on LOC for sure.

Spec ops teams can operate (at least in most cases) in areas independently from wherever they are currently situated, for all we know, they were never in LOC but were brought there for this specific attack.
Or they were always in the LOC, just that the pakistani public wasn't aware of it, since the nature of special forces missions are that they are very secretive.

There no secret mission going on at LOC.

DJI is unfit from military perspective as it has a built in software limitation of 500 meters ceiling from take off level and working on LOS principle, faces challenges in regions like South Kashmir along LC, which is thickly forested, meandering and due to temperatures being quite low, has a comparatively poor battery performance, thereby, severely reducing it's loiter capability/flying time. Militarily - does not make sense. The noise generated, with limitation of range and height, make it a liability for marking of site of take off.

You can check up the same (the limitations) as mentioned in various resources on DJI.

Also, you shall find that no sale of DJI has been executed for Indian Army and there is absolutely no clause under which, Indian Army units can buy these drones in the numbers and at costs that are being reported, without a due RFP and tendering process. You can always look up for the type of mini-UAVs being used by India, it is very well documented as is not part of Strategic Forces procurement.

I am sure you shall be able to appreciate the significance of the challenges as explained above. Of course, the PDF logic of Indian Army being too dumb can be used as a rebuttal!

However, a very interesting observation has come to fore - certain people who do not exist on your side, have been found to be trying to use the same for better surveillance. Maybe that needs to be looked into.

Indian Armed Forces do not use Chinese made drones.

As of past two days, IA will be told that they use it!

I thought super power have spy satellites why are they relying on "Cheap Chinese products"

They are just testing the readiness.
Whie probably also trying to film some footage of Pakistani posts which later they can feed their public as some surgical retarded strike.
