DAWN NEWS:
In the meeting of Principal Staff Officers, DG ISI and Chief of Army Staff; the higher command has decided to provide security to Mansoor Ijaz.

Mansoor Ijaz, a controversial figure, who has criticized the army and ISI numerous times is one of the petitioners in the ongoing Memo case in Supreme Court, Islamabad. Mansoor accepted to appear before the Supreme Court of Pakistan to prove that Hussain Haqqani (former Ambassador to US) provided him the content of Memo. But he expressed concerns regarding his security in Pakistan.

Clock ticking for PPP govt. .. :argh:

.
I would also like to mention that official press release by ISPR has not been released yet. It is just through a source of DAWN NEWS...

.
A person who has nothing but hate and contempt for Pakistan and has on multiple occasions tried to subvert its very existence will be provided security by those sworn to protect it... The IRONY.. the IRONY!!

Even When enemies are invited as guests, they are provided with security and they are fed well and the host never attack him from behind until he leave his area and returned to his own. Irony of the FEUDS in which GHAIRAT MAND peoples are involved.

Well, if the memo is true and Zardari is really involved in it then it is better to provide security to Mansoor Ijaz than to Zardari...

.
The irony of a US nationl being protected by the Army?
But hey, it is a matter of national importance ( as suggested by some in the media).

As Santro said, Oh the irony.

.
What will happen if Zardari is found guilty in the memo case? Will there be death penalty for
treacherous activity and how will the general public react?:coffee:
