Pakistan Army contingent is being sent to KSA on training and advise mission

By the way someone mentioned Bangladesh to help them could u please tell me why should anyone help them they have lots of resources and advance weapons that we lack. What are they scared from and can they fight there own fights and clean their own mess and u called us dimwitted people.
Why would we lose our sleep for Middle East or any country no one has helped us in our dire need. How many troops were send here after APS attack and how many sorties were flown during operation Zarb e AZB.

Saudis can't fight militarily even with all the high tech arms from america. Military wars is to Saudis what creating advanced civilisations is to Sub-Saharan Africans. They want us to fight for them.

800/1000 pak army were all ready in dadi arubia.............. now another
contingent ?/ whats a contingent. 200? 2000?

Proof that PA leadership has been bought out by petrodollars. And that makes PA in a long about way owned by America.

USA > KSA > PA

Wailakulaslam

There's every harm in helping them. Let me get a few common points out of the way first:

(1) Iran. Yes, I know that Iran is not a friendly country but we can't have another front open with us by fighting in the Iran/Saudia proxy wars. We share a border with them this a danger path to tread.
(2) We are not a mercenary army. This is about respecting a security pact signed in 1982 between Saudia and Pakistan. Which means we protect them in case they get attacked. This is an offensive war and Saudia can bloody well fight them on their own.
(3) Humanity. As a muslim this should be your primary concern should it not? We all know what's going in Yemen not to mention famine. The west may be happy to support their Zionist masters along with Al saud's but we bloody well should not be happy about it. Let alone support it.

We don't need to play ANY role. A blockade will further strengthen the famine that's happening all across Yemen. We are not Saudia's slaves as many seem to think around here. What you've advocated in the last few lines isn't even a 'minor role'. A few airstrikes, munitions and a blockade is a pretty major role. We get involved in this there's no coming back and we'll probably have to send manpower there. We already have problems with Afghanistan border and India and you want to send more Pakistani soldiers into a war of another country? Kuch sharam karo.
you are absolutely right but for a country like pakistan dollars and riyals come first then any other principle of religion and humanity.

Why on earth do we care for Al Saud's so much?
because they pay us and our leaders have relationw with them. al sauds are in bed with zionists.

we are forgetting the fact that it is the saudi military that is responsible for the largest cholera out break in yemen. they bomb market places and wedding ceremonies

I hope Bangladesh, under a new government can help Saudi Arabia, as it seems from the posts above, Pakistanis have become too secular and selfish to help them in their time of need. With such people around, who needs enemies? The ME will soon be dominated by Iran, and allied to India, the entire Muslim world will suffer. Thanks to the dimwitted and short-sighted views as expressed in this thread.

What have opposition to sending troops to Saudi got to do with secularism?

Are you saying Pakistanis are more secular than the quasi Hindutva bangalis?

Iran is our neighbour, why should we open another front with them when we already facing threat on eastern and western borders. Saudis should seek help against Iran from whom they are paying 300 billions dollars and leave us "Miskeen Pakistanis" alone.

We can only provide few training instructors and that's it. I don't think Saudis expect anything other then this.

Yes and there are quite a few other reasons to not get actively involved, a large Shia population who might feel isolated by such move, KSAs growing closeness with India and Israel e.t.c

But every country has to take care of its own national interests. Currently our biggest and perhaps only interest should be economic revival of Pakistan on war-footings. The growing gap between us and Indians is going to create serious security concerns in the near future. In the 90's their economy was 5 times larger than ours and their defense budget was 3 times that of ours, there was some sort of parity. Today their economy is 8-9 times larger to ours and defense budget is 5-6 times larger. Training and motivation can play its part, but the reality of the thing is we need top of the line equipment to hold the agressor at bay and that costs money.

So if the price is right i.e it actually uplifts our economy and get us some top of the line equipment "Egypt style" then why not.

For example one of our biggest economic problem is current account and trade deficit which has reached an historical level. The only real cushion that our economy gets is the remittences that guys like you send back home. Last year it was $19 Billion, out of which $7 Billion came from KSA. Now if we can cut a deal with them to say double that figure then economy will get much needed relief and won't require borrowing from the IMF atleast for those $7 Billion.

Similary we can ask them to join our Jf-17 Block 3 or Project Azm, using their good offices with western capitals and their deep pockets we can get top of the line equipment for our projects.

And no army is a mercenary army and every army is a mercenary army. Do you think those american soldiers fighting in Desert Storm to liberate Kuwait and protect KSA had any love for the ones they were protecting, the people they so routinely call Hajis and Sand N****s. Both KSA and Kuwait paid $9 Billion each for the operations and US companies made billions out of contracts from these and rest of much obliged GCC countries. So does that make US army mercenary? No they were serving the national interests of their country.

So if the price is right, only if the PRICE IS RIGHT, we should totaly actively participate in the conflict on KSAs side or even the Iranian side if it serves our purpose. If it is in Pakistan's interest then we should not mind Pak army fighting Tuaregs in Timbuktu.

Nobody's going to Yemen lol. You're all so paranoid. It's literally just for training. PA has never done anything else there in our history of going to the kingdom.

The army can't even take a breath without a debate and controversy.

Training of Saudi forces or Alliance forces, Alliance need really need advise and training and Gen Raheel will prefer Pak Army to do that....so he can implement his doctrine.
just a thought

The number of Pak troops is steadily increasing in ksa under the guise of training and assistance. The afghan interference costed much and our dear country continuing to suffer from the impact of interference in Afghanistan. The interference in ME is far more dangerous than Afghanistan and will have much larger impact on our country in coming years. it is clear now that PA is no more neutral despite parliamentary legislation that insist neutrality. The number of pa troops in ksa will continue to increase steadily since sending in one lot is not possible to avoid backlash and condemnation from the people of Pakistan.

When Iran can send its army and volunteers to syria under the guise of national security and training Syrian army why Pakistan cant do the same ?

SO WHEN ARE WE GOINING TO SEND TROOPS TO PROTECT baitul muqaddas??
JUST LIES FED TO PUBLIC..... SAUDIA ARMY GETS TRAINED BY NATO
SAUDIA ARMY GET TRAIN3ED BY USA
NOW SAUDIA ARMY GATS TRAINING BY PAK ARMY
2020........... SAUDIA ARMY GETS TRAINING BY AFGHAN ARMY........

کوؔا چلا ھنس کی چال اپنی چال بھی بھول گیا

Lol not taking lessons from history but try moving like that crow.
better send 500K instead of 1K.
if you are given a choice to choose one whom will you pick?
Pakistan or Iran

Lol. Pakistan is Ours.

If you choose saudi then ofcourse we choose ISLAMIC IRAN & REVOLUTIONARY YEMEN.

But if you are neutral then ofcourse we too have to stay NEUTRAL.
I support Pakistan and Its interets Btw why are you supporting a country who Gave India a naval port to be used against us? and they were also harboring the like of uzair Baloch and Kulbushan jadav
